Reading 1872
In the name of God, amen, I Louisa Presser of the city of Reading, County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania being in sound health and sound disposing mind, memory and understanding do make this my last Will and testament in manner and form following to wit:
Item; I do hereby and consideration of my son Ferdinand Presser who had enlisted in the Army and gave me his bounty money which enabled me to buy the new property, I do hereby give and bequeath unto Ferdinand Presser his Heirs and assigns the whole of my house and lot of ground wherein I now reside being No.45 between Franklin and Penn Streets.
Item; It is my will and I desire out if the said Real Estate unto my son Henry Presser, the sum on one hundred dollars which money shall be paid him by my son Ferdinand in one year after my death.
Item; It is my will and I order and direct that Ferdinand Presser shall allow my son Edward Presser shall have the privilege of one room and to have a bed in the same as long as Ferdinand shall own said house and in case Ferdinand shall sell the said house the he shall buy another home and give my son Edward a room in the same for his bed.
And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Ferdinand Presser to be Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Nineteenth day of January A.D. One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Nine.

Before me H.S.Getz, Register of Wills,, etc. personally appeared, Matthias Mengle and John C Hepler, the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing, being duly sworn according to Law did dispose and say that they were present and did see and hear Louisa Presser, the Testatrix sign, seal publish and declare the foregoing Instrument of Writing as and for her last will and testament, that at the time of so doing she was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief.
