To the Honorable the Justices of the Orphan's Court of the County of Berks, held at Reading in and for the said County the fourteenth Day of August Anna Domini 1761:
The Petition of Jacob Ladich of the Township of Albany in the said County
Humbly sheweth
That your petitioner is intermarried with Elisabeth the Relict of John Keller late of the same Township, dec'd, who died intestate about four years about four years since, leaving issue by the said Elisabeth, five Children, to wit: Dorothea, aged fourteen years or thereabouts, Catharina aged twelve years, or thereabouts, Christina aged ten years or thereabouts, Henry aged eight years or thereabouts, and Jacob aged five years or thereabouts, who have been at a considerable expense to your petitioner for their maintenance. He therefore humbly prays your Honors, that he may be appointed Guardian for the said minors.

Know all men by these presents that we Jacob Ladich of the Township of Greenwich in the County of Berks, Yeoman, and Elizabeth his wife, late widow of John Keller of the said Township, dec'd, Tobias Stabelton of the Township of Albany in the County aforesaid, yeoman, and Cornelius Treis of the same place, yeoman
Are held and firmly bound unto William Rumsted Register General for the probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for the province of Pennsylvania in the Sum of five hundred pounds lawful money of the said province to be paid to the said William Rumsted register general his certain Attorney Successors administrators and Assigns. To which payment well and truly to be made we do bind ourselves our Heirs Executors Administrators and every of the jointly and severally for and in the whole firmly by these Presents, Sealed with our Seals dated the eighteen day of August in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty.
The condition of this litigation is such that if the above bounden Jacob Ladich and Elisabeth his wife, Administrators of all and singular the goods rights and credits were of John Keller, deceased, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods rights and credits which were of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possessions or knowledge of the said Jacob Ladich and Elisabeth his wife or into the hands possessions or knowledge of any other person or persons for them and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Register General's Office at Reading in the County of Berks at or before the eighteenth day of September next. And the same goods, chattels, rights and credits were of the said Deceased at the Time of his Death or which at any time heretofore have come or hereafter shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the same Jacob Ladich or Elisabeth his wife or any other person or persons for them do will and truly administer according to law. And further do make or cause to be made a true and just Account Calculation or Reckoning of the said administration at or before the eighteenth Day of August in the year of Our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and sixty one. And all the rest and residue of the said goods, rights and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said administrators account, the same being first examined and allowed of by the Orphan's Court of the County of Berks shall deliver and pay to such person or persons as the said Court by its decree or sentence shall limit and appoint. And it shall hereafter appear that any last will or testament was made by the said Deceased and the Executor or Executors thereof do exhibit the same into the said Office making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said Jacob or Elisabeth his Wife being thereunto required do deliver up the said Letters of Administration Approbation of such Testament being first had and made in the said Office Then this obligation to be void and of none Effect, or else to be and remain in full Force and Virtue.
