Reading dated February 1, 1814:
In the name of God Amen, I, Henry Schneider, of the Borough of Reading, Berks County and State of Pennsylvania, yeoman, being weak in body, but of sound mind, memory and understanding, thanks be to God, to the same, considering the uncertainty of this life, do make and do publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: First I will and command my soul unto the hands of God, who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the descretion of my Executors herein after named and as to such wordly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life. I do give and dispose of the same in the following manner, to wit:
ITEM: I do give and devise unto my Son and Daughter, namely, to wit, Henry SCHNEIDER, and dau Mary SCHNEIDER, all that my present dwelling house and lot of land situate on the West side of Duke Street in the borough of Reading, aforesaid, containing in breadth on said tract, sixty feet and in length hun. and twenty feet with the appurtenances to have and to hold the said home and lot of ground unto them said Henry SCHNEIDER and Mary SCHNEIDER, their heirs and assigns forever, (as tenants in common and not as soul tenants) AND I do hereby further give and bequeath unto the said Henry and Mary and to their heirs, the following 5 bonds to wit, four of them due by Michael HARTMAN each conditioned for one hundred pounds, one other of them due by Conrad HENRY conditioned for one hundred pounds, and also a note due by George DeB. KEIM for the sun of 797 pounds, 9 shillings, and further I do give and bequeath unto the said Henry and Mary, all my house and kitchen furniture, to be equally divided among them, share and share alike. I do hereby give and bequeath unto my nephew Peter SCHNEIDER a bond due from him for 100 pounds with interests. I do give unto my brother Abraham SNEIDER, a bond due by him to me for 65 pounds with interest.
I do hereby give and bequeath unto my 3 brothers Leonard, Jacob and Dieter and my relation Peter GLASSER, the monies arising from 3 bonds, 2 of them due me from Jacob BOYER, and the others due me from the said Peter KLASSER[GLASSER?] to be equally divided between them.
AND as to the remainder and residue of my Estate whatsoever and whereever, I do also give unto my children the said Henry and Mary to be equally divided between.
And lastly it is my will and I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Daniel DeB. KEIM and Benneville KEIM Executors of this my last will and testament and do hereby also appoint the said Daniel DeB. KEIM and Benneville guardians of the persons and estates of my said two children, and hereby revoking all other wills heretofore by me made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and Testament.

Register Office Reading Berks County, Jan 13, 1816:
Then appeared Peter STICHTER and Henry BETZ witnesses to the afore written will, who were duly qualified according to law, did declare and say that they were present and did see and hera Henry SCHNEIDER the testator, sign publish pronounce and declare the said writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of the doing thereof, he the said testator was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and as they verily believe and further that the names Peter STICHTER and Henry BETZ are of the deponents' own handwriting thereto subscribed as witnesses in the presents of each other, and in the presents and at the request of the testator.
