To the Honorable the Judge of said Court:
The Petition of Henry B Yorgey, father of Mary S and Lizzie S minors under the age of fourteen years, resident within the said Berks County respectfully represents;
That they were born Mary S April 19 1885 and Lizzie S February 7 1887. That they are the children of your petitioner and Ellen his wife deceased. That they have no guardian to take care of their person and estate. He therefore prays the Court appoint A. B. Yorgey Guardian for the purpose aforesaid

And now, Dec 1 1888 the foregoing petition and the affidavits annexed thereto having been read, the Court do appoint Alfred B Yorgey to be the Guardian of said minors and direct security to be entered in the sum of one thousand dollars in each case to be approved by the court.

That we Alfred B Yorgey and George R Yorgey all of Berks County and State of Pennsylvania are Held and Firmly Bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, lawful money, to be paid to the said Commonwealth, her certain Attorney or Assigned, to which payment well and truly to be made and done, we do BIND ourselves, our Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and each of us, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our Seals and dated the Eighth day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine.
THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH:
Guardian of Lizzie S Yorgey, minor child of Ellen Yorgey (nee Sassaman) wife of Henry B Yorgey of said county, deceased, shall at least once every three years, and at any other time when required by Orphans’ Court for the County of Berks, render a Just and True account of the management of the property and estate of said minor under his care, and shall also deliver up the said property, agreeably to the order and decree of the said Court, or the directions of Law and shall in all respects, faithfully perform the DUTIES OF GUARDIAN of said minor, then the above obligation shall be void; otherwise it shall be and remain in FULL FORCE AND VIRTUE.
