Reading 1888
In the name of God, Amen.
I Elizabeth Keller, of the city of Reading in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, widow of the late Daniel Keller, deceased, being weak and feeble in body but of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this for my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
First – I bequeath my soul to God and my body to my friends for a decent and Christian Burial.
Secondly – I order and direct that my hereafter named Executors shall pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after y decease as shall be convenient without prejudice to my estate.
And as to such estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same in the following manner. viz: -
Item – I give and bequeath to my son William Keller, one undivided one-sixth share.
Item – I give and bequeath to my son Reuben Keller, one undivided one-sixth share.
Item – I give and bequeath to my son Franklin Keller, one undivided one-sixth share.
Item – I give and bequeath to my son Jmes Keller, one undivided one-sixth share.
Item – I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary wife of Samuel Wentzel, one undivided one-sixth share.
Item – I give and bequeath to my grandsons George & John Keller, sons of my deceased son Daniel Keller, one undivided one-sixth share.
I also order and direct that my hereafter named Executors shall have the right and full authority to sell and dispose of my real estate either at private or public sale, for the best price they can obtain for the same, and make, execute and deliver deed or deeds to the purchaser or purchasers as fully and legally as I myself could do, if living.
Lastly – I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my sons, William Keller and Franklin Keller to be the Executors of this my Last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Keller have to this my Last Will and Testament, written on one sheet of legal cap paper, set my hand and seal this twenty first day of March A D one thousand eight hundred and eighty five.
