Will and Testament of Daniel Weitzel dec'd

Proved February 3, 1892 - Same day letters testamentary granted unto James H. Weitzel and Susan H. Foreman, the executors named in the will, they having first been duly qualified hereunto.

Testator died January 17, A. D. 1892

In the name of God Amen I , Daniel Weitzel of Lower Heidelberg Township, County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall in the first ? be fully paid and satisfied and that a suitable tombstone shall be place on or at my grave as soon as convenient after my decease. As to such estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of as follows. I order and direct that in one year after my death, my daughter Mary, married to Henry Kindt, shall have my house at Sinking Spring and five hundred dollars in money which shall be her full share out of my estate without any further claim whatever to my estate.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my son James H. Weitzel and my daughter Susan, married to Charles Foreman, the balance of my estate both real and personal after the aforesaid share of my daughter Mary and funeral expenses are paid in equal shares to be divided between said James H and Susan.

And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son James H Weitzel and my daughter Susan Foreman Executors of this, my Last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof, I Daniel Weitzel the Testator have to this my will written in this sheet of paper set my hand and seal this third day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-one.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the above named Daniel Weitzel as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Testator and of each other.

On the 3rd Day of February A. D. 1892 before me personally appeared Daniel Piefer and Jas. L. Freeman the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will of Daniel Weitzel dec'd and on their solemn oath did say they were present and did see and hear Daniel Weitzel, deceased, the Testator therein named, sign, seal, publish, and declare the same as and for his last will and testament and that at the doing thereof he was of sound disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge.
