Last Will and Testament of Catharine Yerger

dated Dec 18, 1862

In the name of God, Amen, I, Catharine Yerger, widow of the deceased Philip Yerger, of Penn township Berks County and State of Pennsylvania, consider that man is mortal and resolve herewith this as my last will and testament, as follows, namely:

First, I order herewith and is my will that my hereafter named executors shall pay out of my estate, all my just debts, if there are any, and my funeral expenses as soon as possible.

And as concerning my worldly estate, consisting in different personal property, so I give and bequeath all that I have to my son Solomon Yerger, to his entire property, which he shall have in possession immediately after my death. And my sons Benneville, Philip, John and William and my daughters Catharine, Elizabeth, Esther, Caroline shall have nothing of my estate.

And lastly I nominate herewith, both my sons Solomon and William, to executors of this my last will and testament. And I declare oncemore this document, to my last will and testament, and to the proper credence, have, this with my own hand, and affixed my seal thereto, so done on the eighteenth December one thousand eight hundred and sixty two.

Solomon Yerger and William Yerger Executors of Catharine Yerger Late of Penn township Berks County, decd, being duly sworn _____? depose and say that the said Catharine Yerger died in Penn Township, Berks County, State of Pennsylvania on the 21st day of January, A.D., 1875 at 5:40 PM.
