Know all men by these presents that whereas Jacob Reeser of the Township of Cumru in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman, in his lifetime made his last will & testament in writing bearing date the twenty second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety three and therein did give and bequeath, in the words following (to wit) "It is my will that my beloved wife Barbara do keep all my estate whatsoever in her hands during her natural life for her own use and further, I give and bequeath unto her the full annuity reserved for us both in two certain debts of annuity given unto us by our sons Jacob Reesor jun. and John Reesor, to hold the same during her natural life according to the tenor (?) of said debts of annuity. Item It is my will that after the death of my beloved wife Barbara all the residue of my estate be equally divided amongst my sons Jacob Reesor, John Reesor, Henry Reesor, Daniel Reesor and my daughters, Elizabeth Reder, Catharine Fesig, Maria Petry, Susanna Heister, and Magdalena Reesor their heirs or representatives share and share alike" and of his said __ did nominate and appoint Francis Ruth Executor of said will, as in and by said will duly proven and remaining in the registers office at Reading recourse thereunto had appear and whereas the said Francis Ruth Executor as aforesaid by his administration account rendered into the Registers office aforesaid wherein and whereby it appears that there is a balance in his hands the sum of three hundred and forty seven pounds and seventeen shillings, and whereas the said Francis Ruth had this day paid unto each of us our respective dividends of the balance aforesaid agreeably to the will aforesaid. Now know ye that the said Jacob Reesor, John Reesor, Henry Reesor, Daniel Reesor, George Reder and Elizabeth his wife, Conrad Fesig and Catharine his wife, Jacob Petry and Maria his wife, Christian Heister and Susanna his wife, and John Ketner and Magdalena his wife, do hereby confess and acknowledge that each of them hath this day received their respective shares or dividends of the balance aforesaid agreeably to the will aforesaid. And therefore we and each of us do hereby release and acquit and forever discharge the said Francis Ruth his heirs, executors and administrators and every of them of and from the balance aforesaid, and also of and from all reckonings, accounts, suits, payments, actions, and demands whatsoever touching or concerning the will of the said Jacob Reesor decd, from the beginning of the world to the day of the date of these presents. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals dated this ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & seven.

Whereas Jacob Reesor by his last will & testament bearing date the twenty second day of March AD 1793 did give and bequeath in the words following to wit, Item "It is my will that after the death of my beloved wife Barbara my hereinafter named Executor pay unto my son Abraham Reesor or his representatives the sum of five pounds in gold or silver money to be in full of his inheritance of all my estate either real or personal having in my lifetime advanced him his full portion out of my said estate and of his said will constituted and appointed Francis Ruth as Executor" as in and by said will duly proven and remaining in the Registers office at Reading in and for the County of Berks. Now Know Ye that the above named Abraham Reesor have this day had and received of and from the above named Francis Ruth the sum of five pounds in full the legacy so given unto me by my said father's will and therefore I do by these presents acquit release and forever discharge the said Francis Ruth his heirs executors & administrators of all such sums or sums of monies legacies or bequests given unto me by the will aforesaid and also all actions suits payments administrationings (?) and demands whatsoever touching or concerning the premises. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & seven.

Berks County SS: On the 10th day of November AD 1807 before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the county of Berks aforesaid appeared personally Henry Betz of the Borough of Reading Berks County afor. conveyancer, who upon his solemn oath did declare & say that he was present and did see the within named Jacob Reesor, John Reesor, Henry Reesor, Daniel Reesor, George Reder, and Elizabeth his wife, Conrad Fesig & Catharine his wife, Jacob Petry and Maria his wife, Christian Hiester & Susanna his wife, John Ketner and Magdalena his wife sign seal and as their act and deed did deliver the within written release that he did also see the within named Abraham Reeser sign seal and as his act and deliver ... the within written release that he did also see the within named John Hiester and John Reeser subscribe their names as witnesses to the within written release and that the same Henry Betz thereto also subscribed and witnesseth his own hand writing and further saith not.
