Official Program of the 175th Anniversary of the Founding of Reading

Charles H. Hunter

The election of Mr. Hunter as President of the 175th Anniversary Committee is a fitting tribute to one who has been in the forefront in practically every civic movement for the betterment of the City.

He is a member of most of the civic organizations; member of the Reading Library Board for twenty-five years; one of the organizers of the Farm Bureau and a member since its organization; director of the Historical Society; Director of the Chamber of Commerce; and a member of the Wyomissing Club.
