Deed between Robert Jones and Daniel Hill

Windsor Township, Berks County, Book B3, p. 76, recorded May 31, 1777.

Know all men by these presents that I ROBERT JONES (and ELISABETH JONES my wife) of Wellestown in Chester County in consideration of five and forty pounds of lawful current money of Pennsylvania to be paid in hand do covenant and agree to and with DANIEL HILL of Windsor Township in the County of Berks to assign over to the said DANIEL HILL a tract of land containing 226 acres 85 perches more or less situated in Windsor Township and Berks County aforesaid now in the occupation of the said DANIEL HILL the tract tract bordering and joining the lands of THOMAS BELLANCE, HUGH JONES and THOMAS SHEPPARD, which tract on the foresaid consideration we for our selves our heirs executors and administrators by these presents do assign over to the said DANIEL HILL his heirs and assigns for ever in witness whereof we have here unto set our hands and seals this twentieth day of February in the Year of Our Lord 1767. Be it remembered that on the 21st day of February, 1767 came before me ISAAC DAVIS one of the justices of the County of Chester the above named ROBERT JONES and then and there acknowledged the above writing to be his act and and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof on witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
