Abstract of Land Transaction between John Box and David Grim

On 12 June 1767, the Penns granted "three several tracts of land" to Jacob Grim of Bern Twp. (Patent Book A.A. page 355, Philadelphia) Jacob Grim sold the land to his son David Grim, who, with his wife Eva Margaretha, on 23 Dec 1772 , sold 49 1/2 acres of the granted land to John Box. The deed for the Grim/Box transaction was recorded on 3 May 1844. No wife was mentioned for John Box. People named in the deed whose land adojined the newly deed land were John Hortz, Casper Philips, and Jacob Grim (alias Thim).
