THIS INDENTURE Made this thirty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and one - Between Jacob MINICH of Bern Township in the County of Berks and the State of Pennsylvania Yeoman and Catherine his wife of the one part. And Abraham BUCKS of the Township and State aforesaid Yeoman of the other part ... Witnesseth that the said Jacob MINICH and Catherine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred and fifty pounds in Gold and Silver Lawful money of Pennsylvania to them well and truly in hand paid by the said Abraham BUCKS his heirs Executors and Administrators by these presents, have granted, bargained sold alined enfoeffed released and confirmed and by these presents to grant bargain sell, align, enfoeff release and Confirm unto the said Abraham BUCKS and to his heirs and assigns. ALL these Certain Two Tracts or pieces of land situate in Bern Township aforesaid, the one of them Bounded and limited as follows To Wit Beginning at a Hickory & in a line of John GREENWALTs land thence by the same south sixty one perches and three quarters to a while oak West forty perches to a post and South Sixty seven perches and three quarters to a corner White Oak of John LUTZ's land thence by the same North sixty nine degrees West Ninety Eight perches and a half to a great Chestnut Oak thence by land of Nicholas MILLER North twenty one degrees East one hundred and one perches to a corner White Oak of Valentine MEGEL's land thence by the same East ninety five perches and three quarters to the place of Beginning Containing Sixty five acres and one Eighth of an Acre and allowance of six per cent for Roads: The other of them being contiguous to the above Tract is Bounded and limited as follows to wit. Beginning at a corner Hickory of Church land thence by the same and Philip Jacob HEVIDT? and Valentine MOGUL North one hundred and seventy nine perches to a post then of North Eighty three degrees West forty perches to a Hickory tree thence by land of Valentine MOGUL and the above described Tract of Land South Sixty seven perches to a while oak West forty perches to a post and South sixty seven perches and three quarters to a while Oak in the same line and corner of the above described Tract of Land and thence North fifty Eight degrees East fourteen perches and a half to a while oak South sixty six degrees six perches to a Chestnut Oak and South eleven degrees West sixty eight perches to a small Spanish oak in a line of William LYMASTER's land thence north the same East Eighty perches to the place of beginning. Containing Seventy four Acres and thirty perches of land and allowance as aforesaid. It being the same two Tracts or pieces of land which Philip SMITH and Elizabeth & his wife by their Indenture bearing date the Twelfth day of May, Anno Domini 1792 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm the same unto the said Jacob Minich (party hereto) in fee, as in and by the said in past recited Indenture intended to be Recorded, relati?? being thereunto had may more fully and at large appears together with all and Singular other the houses and out houses Buildings barns, stables, ?woods waters water courses, rights liberties privileges Hereditaments and appurtenances Whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rests issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate right title interest property Claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Jacob MINICH and Catherine his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said two tracts of pieces of land containing in the whole One hundred & thirty nine Acres and fifth perches, and allowance as aforesaid ditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so as to be with the appurtenances (?) the said Abraham BUCKS his heirs and assigns To the only proper use and behoof of the said Abraham BUCKS his heirs and assigns forever Subject to the proportion (cant read word) of the quitrent). if any; hereafter allowing for the same and (can't read words) fee thereof, And the said Jacob MINICH forehand (can't read words) doth Covenant promise, (can't read words) heirs and assigns by these presents that he the said Jacob MINICH his heirs the said above described two tracts or pieces of land Hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances wits the said Abraham BUCKS his heirs and assigns against him the said Jacob MINICH and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these pieces to ~ In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals, Dated the day and year first above Written

Sealed and Delivered in the presence of John Jacob LOOSE The 31st day of January Anno Domini 1901 before me, William HEISTER Esquire one of the Justices of the peace in and the County of Berks came Jacob MINICH and Catherine, his wife and acknowledged the above written Indenture to be their act and (deed?) and desired the same might be Recorded as such according to Law, the said Catherine being of full age and the Contents thereof being first made known unto her she voluntarily thereunto consented. Received on the date of the within written Indenture of the within names Abraham BUCKS the sum of Seven hundred and fifty pounds in Gold and Silver money, It being the Consideration money within mentioned in full, I say received per me Jacob MINICH witness and present at the signing
