This Indenture made the first day of June in the year of our Lord 1811, between George Adam Witman of Robeson Township, County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, yeoman, of the one part, and Martin Moyer of the same place of the other part, witmesseth that the said George Adam Witman for and in consideration of the sum of 500 pounds lawful money of the State of Pennsylvania to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Martin Moyer at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereby doth acquit and forever discharge the said Martin Moyer, his heirs, executors and administrators by these presents hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these present doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Martin Moyer and to his heir and assigns all that certain messuage and tract of land situate in Robinson Township, Berks County, and State of Pennsylvania, BEGINNING at a stone in a line of Christian Dunehower, thence south two degrees east 206 perches to a stone thence by land of John Scarlet south 88 degrees east 70 perches to a stone thence by other land of Martin Moyer, south 3/4 degree East 97 perches thence south 8 degrees west 31 perches thence north -- and an half degrees west 39 perches thence south 40 1/4 degrees east 26 perches thence north 9 3/4 degrees west 76 perches thence south 69 degrees west 52 perches to the place of beginning containing 81 acres and 13 perches strict measure, be the same more or less. Whereas Edward George by sundry good conveyances, became lawfully seized of a certain tract of land in Robeson township taken up under a warrant unto Michael George dated the 11th day of April 1751. And also another tract of land containing 80 acres lying in the Township aforesaid by a warrant unto the said Edward George dated 29th day of September AD 1766. And whereas the said Edward George by his indenture bearing date 1st day of December 1781 did grant and confirm the above mentioned two tracts of land unto John George, who by his Indenture bearing date the 16th day of April 1782, for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm the same unto George Adam WITMAN, party hereto, together also with all and singular , the houses, out-houses, barns, stables, gardens, orchards, meadows, fields, fences, ways, woods, waters, water-courses, rights,liberties, priviledges,hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, subject to the proprietors purchase money now due or to become due, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all the estate, right title, interest, ise, truast, property, possession claim and demand whatsoever of jhim the said George Adam Witman, in law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in, to or out of the same. do have and to hold the said 81 acres and thirteen perches, heritidaments and premises, hereby granted and released, or mentioned or intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said Martin Moyer heirs and assigns: To the only proper use and behoof of him, the said Martin Moyer, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said George Adam Witman, for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators, doth covenant, promise, grant and agree to and with the said Martin Moyer, his heirs and assigns by these present; that he the said George Adam Witman, and his heirs, the said tract of land containing 81 acres 13 perches, hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said Martin Moyer, his heirs and assigns, against him the said George Adam Witman and his heirs and against all and every every other person and persons, whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part or parcel thereof by from or under him, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said parties to the present have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals. Dated the day and year first above written.
