Johan George Berger, son of Christian Berger and his wife Sallie, nee Reber, was born on the 24th September 1810 in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania and was baptized by the Reverend Meyer, witnessed by Tobias Berger and his wife, and was confirmed at 15 years of age by Pastor Thomas Leinbach in the Lutheran reformed church in Bernville, PA.
My wife, Catharina Berger, daughter of John Boltz and his wife Elizabeth, nee Potteiger, was born on the 17th June 1817 in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania and was baptised by Pastor Hiester, witnessed by Catharina Albrecht.
