Query: First time at this, and not sure I'm doing anything right.
Trying to find the grave of my uncle - Warren Kenneth Dornes - for my 87
year old father. Dad was 5 years old +/- when his brother Warren died.
The infant was buried at a cemetary at 12th and South Streets, Reading,
PA. 15 years ago, the cemetary had no record of a Warren Kenneth Dornes
be buried at that cemetary. Dad knows his baby brother was buried there,
because the cemetary was about a block or two from their house and they
walked from their house, with the coffin, to the cemetary. I think, but
am not sure, that dad would like to put a burial marker on his brothers
grave. I need help with this. Could you email me any information about
how I can locate this grave. I don't even know the name of the cemetary,
just the location. 12th and South Streets, Reading, PA. Joan Bell 2657
Pinewood Drive Waldorf, Maryland 20601 PS The year of the birth and death
of Warren Dornes would have been around 1916 - Mother Annie Florence (Albert)

Query: EATON - Thomas Eaton was born 1814 in Lancaster County.
He may have been the son of Thomas Eaton born approx. 1790 or the son of
a John Eaton. The names John Calvin, Thomas and George occur frequently
in the line. Since Eaton was not common name for Lancaster County at that
time, it is possible that they moved there from an adjoining county. If
anyone has any possible information it would be greatly appreciated. Thank
you!

Query: TOBIAS,HANEY/HENEY/HENNEY/HENNE Searching for the birthdate/place
of Samuel Tobias and his wife, Elizabeth Haney. An Ohio history states
they were natives of Schuylkill Co. PA, but as they were undoubtedly born
in the late 1700's, birthplace was likely Berks Co. PA. One of their children,
Lydia, was baptised Jan 26, 1817 at St Michael's Union Church in Tilden
Twp. Berks county. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have
knowledge of this family, or could tell me if records are available for
St Michael's Church. Thanks for any offered help. Ron Tobias

Query: BECKER & DOERRMANN. Looking for Jacob BECKER. Naturalization
of Adolph DOERRMANN on 21 May 1892 lists his sponsors as Marx DOERRMANN
and Jacob BECKER, who was naturalized in 1887. I couldn't, however, locate
Jacob's file. Adolph (b. 20 Sep. 1869) listed his birthplace as Manheim,
Baden, Germany (probably the nearest big city). He and his mother, Magdalena,
arrived in New York on 14 Nov. 1877 under the name BECKER. His mother married
John Marx DOERRMANN on 25 Nov. 1877 in Reading. She was born 23 Mar. 1844
(in Bavaria per the 1880 census) to Valentine BECKER and Anna M. B(unreadable).
Julius DORMAN, brother of Marx, married Katharine BECKER on 29 Jan. 1873
in Reading. She was born 26 Mar. 1848 in Germany to unknown parents. I
am trying to tie the BECKER family together in order to locate church records
in Germany. Thank you for any help.
