Looking for information on the families of John Christian KEIM/KIME who
was the son of Anna Marie and Conrad KEIM and married (1) Anna Margaret
MENGES. They lived in Northumberland, Berks Co, PA until about 1812 when
they moved to Fayette, Seneca Co, NY and operated a hotel on Seneca Lake
in western New York State. They were the parents of David KIME, Peter
KIMES, and possibly Jacob KIME.
Also known as Christian KIME, he was born 27 May 1769 in Oley, Berks Co.,
PA and died 31 December 1855 in Seneca Co, NY. Anna Margaret, or
Margaret as she was known, was born 02 February 1767 in Muncy, Lycoming
Co, PA and died in Seneca Co, NY on 12 May 1834. After Margaret died, he
later married an Elizabeth. They most likely had a son Reuben, born in
1844, died Mar. 4, 1870. Elizabeth was born about 1787 and died 02
February 1871 in Norwalk, Huron Co, OH.
Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, New York and elsewhere.

He was in Northhamptom county in 1790 per Census. Came from
the Rhineland in Germany?? He had children James, John,
Josiah and Mary Ann. All were born from 1793 to 1800. We
believe he was married to a Margaret Sophia NUHARD (sp??)
He probably married her in Germany, He arrived here in 1763
in Maryland, we think. He bought land in Virginia and finally
settled there, but we know there is many ancestors still

CARTWRIGHT, McALLISTER- need help with family of Moses
Cartwright, son of Cyrus Cartwright. In 1790 Cyrus was living in Union
township of Berks Co, and Moses would have been about 6 years old. About
1805 Moses wed Hannah McAllister, and by 1810 they had moved to Franklin
Township. by 1820 they were in clearfield Co, and later moved on to Ohio
and Kentucky. Moses and his sons all followed the mining/blacksmithing
trades. can anyone help with either the Cartwright or McAllister
