Query: Need information on Johan Peter DRESSLER, who arrived
at the Port of Philidelphia on the ship Samuel on August, 1739. I cannot
find any definite information on him from the time he landed until he bought
land in Augusta County, Virginia in 1758. After that, I have found several
records and traced the family eventually to Indiana. His son, Henry, served
in the Revolutionary War from Berks County, and Peter's brother, Joseph
David lived in Berks, or Lancaster. Other names in the line are: BAER,
SURFACE, FRY, MALLOW, ZARING, PERSINGER, FUDGE, BRUNNEMER, KISLING, PENCE,
