From a deed I know her name was Margaret, and she appeared to have signed with her maiden name. That surname (hers) is difficult to read, but it looks like she wrote Margaret CRAMPIN--it is definitely not Evans. If the name is, indeed CRAMP, it would add significantly to the known information about the CRAMP family. The deed was executed in 1800; that is the only time frame I have for which Thomas Evans this might be. Any help will be appreciated.

Farm went out of family hands in 1855. Andreas grandson Henry (my ggg grandfather) moved to Northumberland (Now Columbia Co.) in about 1802 and settled near Lightstreet. I cannot find any definite information on him from the time he landed until he bought land in Augusta County, Virginia in 1758. After that, I have found several records and traced the family eventually to Indiana. His son, Henry, served in the Revolutionary War from Berks County, and Peter's brother, Joseph David lived in Berks, or Lancaster.
