Am searching for two brothers of my ancestor Jacob Hileman born somewhere

married to a Hannah Rumple moved to N.C. and then to Butler County Ohio
around 1815 and died there. Another brother George also moved to Ohio
about the same time. I believe all three were born around the same time
and in Penn. I have been looking for my Jacob's father for some time and
just recently stumbled on the possibility of the brothers. I live in
Illinois, in Union County where a lot of Hileman came in the early 1819.

E-mail: Henry Hoffman
Query: Until recently, my search for Jesse Quimby
Hoffman had centered in
Gloucester County New Jersey. Just a few days ago I finally found a
death certificate for JQH and found his father to be a Jacob Hoffman,
married to an "Ursulla?" I question because of course the handwriting
is impossible to read. My wife and I think it says Ursulla after we
compare it to other letters on the d.c. Birthplace for Jacob and Ursula
was "US". That narrows it down huh? An early family biography says that
the family came from Pennsylvania.
If you can help me, I'll tell you what I have:
Jacob Hoffman married Ursulla. They were born in ht USA. In 1819 they
had two known sons, Lewis, and Jesse Quimby, apparently born in
Cumberland, NJ (now I question that also). Jesse QUimby married
Elizabeth. In 1850 Lewis was married to a Margaret. Both Jesee and Lewis
were living in Trenton NJ, working off the sea- Jesse as a caulker in a
shipyard, Lewis as a sea capt.
Has any of this ever shown up in your research?
