I have a Baptismal Certificate that was folded up in my family
bible.
I cannot read the names and would like to find church or other records to
obtain the names.
the certicate is 13" by 16" and has drawings of angels on the sides and
birds on the bottom.I know that the father's name was Heinrick.
The mother's name was Debra possibly Romig. The date of birthwas 22 Sept
1823. the date of baptism may have been November 1823.
The place of birth was Long Swamp. The minister was named German. The
witnesses were Heinrick Schaeffer,Margaretta ??and someone who had a
middle name of Ledigen.
my problem with this certificate is made more difficult because I don"t
read German.

I next find him in Cumberland County on tax roll in 1763.
His first son is bobrn 1762. Looking for info on indentured
records. The time gap leads me to believe he was indentured.
Wife was possiblby a LIVINGSTON as many offspring of his on
both sons side carry the middle name of Livingston. Are there
records of indentured servants available.
I would like to think and find out that the person holding
the indenture was a man named Livingsto and had a daughter
named Mary.

Query: In the will dated 1819 of my gggg grandfather
Lewis Mocherman Sr. it states his children as: George, Henry, John, Adam
Abraham and daughters Magdelena Friend, Caty (Kathrina) Ludig, and Ester
Renick. His wife is also Esther. In selling some land in 1829 besides
their "X" the name now becomes Mockamer, Mochmen, Mauckmer, Mauckmer,
Mauchamen,etc. If ther name is Mauhmer, then I have info., but what I
need is a "tie in" to see if the names Mauchmer and Mocherman were used
interchangeably. If it is Mauchmer, then it has been tracked to Berks Co.
Can anyone help? Would anyone know the parents of Lewis Mocherman Sr.? I
only have the will, their children, and do not know any birth dates.
