WOLFGANG, Jacob & William. My gr-grandfather Jacob WOLFGANG was

also the right age was in Berks County and married a woman named Anna.

were reported to have first settled in Berks County. The name has been
known to have variations such as DRITT, D'TRITT, TREAT, and so forth.
The lineage to various Pennsylvania families has been documented. I am
in search of a line leading to Greenbriar County, Virginia (now West
Virginia) and on to Lee County, Virginia. There was reported to be
another relative named Balthus TRITT to have sailed several years later
and may have settled in North Carolina. Beginning search from scratch.

Query:
I am researching my ROTH line. My ggrandfather Cosmos ROTH
was born in Berks Co. on September 27, 1838. His parents were
Samuel ROTH, born Nov. 16, 1807 in Berks Co, and Sarah (DeLong)
ROTH, born Oct. 31, 1812 in Berks Co. Samuel's baptism record
is found in the Book of St. Joseph (Hill) Church, Oley Twnsp.
His record states that his parents were Conrad and Elizabeth ROTH.
There is a Conrad and Elizabeth ROTH listed in Montgomery's "History
of Lehigh Co." He was born in Berks Co. in 1772 and died in N.
Whitehall in 1848. I also have this Conrad's baptism record. My problem
is
that in Montgomery's book it lists Conrad and Elizabeth's children.
There is no mention of a Samuel. There is listed a Benniville
however. On the 1850 Lehigh Co. census, N. Whitehall twnsp,
my Samuel and Sarah are found living near Benniville ROTH. Living
with Benniville ROTH is Enoch ROTH, Samuel and Sarah's first born son.
Cosmos ROTH is found living with his uncle Ephriam DeLong. Is this
enough evidence to suggest that Montgomery's book is not complete and
this Conrad and Elizabeth are the actual parents of Samuel ROTH? Where
might I search for further evidence. On Conrad's birth record it states
that his parents were Mathias ROTH. If I can connect with this line, I
can
proceed to trace it to the first immigrant. My ROTH line migrated from
PA in the 1850's. Samuel and Cosmos are buried near Rossville, IN, as
are
their spouses.

Query: NOLL/KNOLL/NULL - Looking for proof of the
parents for
the following known siblings: John NOLL who married Elisabeth
Catharine SCHAEFFER, 31 Dec 1738 in Tulpehocken, Berks Co.,
Pa.; Bathasar NOLL (d. 1810) who married Anna Maria STEIN 1754;
and Anna Maria NOLL (d. 1820 in Bethel Twp., Lebanon Co., Pa.)
who married LEITNER. Anna Maria NOLL LEITNER apparently died
without children and her will names children of her two brothers.
The children of John NOLL are as follows: Nichlaus; Anna Maria who
married George Michael GROFF, 1 June 1783 in Marion Twp.,
Berks Co.; Michael; Solmi who married a Mr. Echertin &
Christian BENNER; John (d. 1814 Jackson Twp. Lebanon Co.);
Catharina (b. 21 Jul 1741 in Berks Co.) who married John
SHUEY; and Susanna Margaretha (b. 11 Sep 1746 in Berks Co.,
d. 6 Dec 1829 in Berks Co.) who married Andreas EDERS/EDRIS.
The children of Balthasar NOLL are as follows: Baltzer;
Anna Margaret (b. 28 Mar 1755) who married Jacob LEITNER;
John (b. 14 Apr 1757); George (17 Feb 1764); Anna Maria (b.
7 Apr 1766); and Magdalena (b. 15 Dec 1775, d. 1835) who
married Johan Leonard EDERS/EDRIS, 21 Apr 1795 in Marion
Twp., Berks Co., Pa. It has been speculated that the unknown
parents of John NOLL, Bathasar NOLL, and Anna Maria NOLL may
have been the Hans Georg NOLL listed in a Tulpehocken
Account book as early as 1744. There is a Johans (Hans)
Georg NOLL/NULL who was born 1695-6 in Germany, he died in
the 1760s, married Anna Margaret______, lived in Heidelberg
Twp., Berks County, Pa. He had a son named Nicholas NOLL/

Query: BEISCHLEIN/BEUSCHLEIN/BEISTLINE/BEISTEL -
Searching for info
on the descendants of Andreas (Andrew) BEISCHLEIN of Robeson
Township, Berks County, Pa. who died 6 October 1783. His
will, dated 27 October 1783, lists a wife Margret and eldest
son Michael. The estate was to be divided amongst other
children. I am looking for those other children one of whom
may be my direct ancestor, Andreas (Andrew) BEISTEL who
died in Lebanon Twp. Lancaster County, Pa., 1777, and is
believed to have had at least two siblings: Philippina
Beistel who married Jacob SAUTER/SOUDER, 28 May 1771 also
in the Lebanon County area and Christoper BEISTLE who was
a witness to Andreas's will dated 29 May 1777. The
name BEISCHLEIN has many versions as evident from "Berks
County Church Records of the 18th Century, Vol. I," by F.
Edward Wright, page 187, in Burials & Deaths of Schwart-
wald Reformed Church, Exeter Twp., in which the death &
burial of Andreas BEISTLE is listed as follows: b. Apr 27,
1724 and death of October 6, 1783. Although the name is
BEISTLE instead of BEISTLEIN, it is obviously the same
individual. In the search of other church records in Berks
County there are other possible children (or grandchildren)
as follows: Nicolaus BEISTLE who married Barbara FUHRMANN,
26 Dec 1786; Christopher BEISTLE who married Anna Maria
FRANTZ, 31 Mar 1789; Georg BEISTELE who married Margartha
LUTZ, 12 Aug 1788; and Anna Maria BEISTEL who married
