Samuel Eidell my gggrandfather 1850-1906 married Anna Marie or
(Maria) Walters or(Summers)1856-1892. Samuels father was Charles
Eidell, mother Elizebeth Baue(?) both born in Oley township,Berks
Co.(no dates) looking for info on if Samuel had any brothers or
sisters. Also Anna's maiden name. Could she of been married twice?
I don't know. Both Sam and Anna are buried at SnowShoe, Pa. Sam
was a coal miner and according to past recorders I have so was

Seeking information on John VALENTINE, born @ 1860, possibly in
Womelsdorf, Berks County. I believe his parents were William and
Elizabeth Valentine from Womelsdorf. John had a son, Cress/Crassmus
Valentine born June 3, 1883, died July 31, 1956, married Nora Stoudt,
born June 4, 1889, died May 13, 1959. The mother of Cress was Malinda
Bausher, born April 6, 1863, died February 23, 1923, and is buried in
Strausstown. Malinda and John Valentine never married. She later
married John Goodman on October 18, 1893. I believe John VALENTINE
married Ada (Ritter) April 7, 1900 and later moved to Wyoming County, Pa.

I am trying to make a connection between my grandfather, William
Allan Wolfgang (married Emily Belle Hidinger), b. 6-22-1874 in Sigel, PA
and his father, Jacob
Wolfgang born in Clarion Co, PA c. 1844-45. Jacob was discharged
from the Civil War in 1865 at age 20. My father, William Merle
Wolfgang was born in Brookville in 1909. I can find several Jacobs
and a couple of Williams of the proper ages in Berks and Clearfield
Counties but cannot establish positively that one of these Jacobs
is my great-grandfather. Any advice or information would be gratefully

I am compiling information on the Schreffler/Shreffler family,
descendants of Heinrich Schreffler of Reading, PA. The children of
Godtfriedt Schreffler, son of Heinrich, left Berks County and settled in
the area where Schuylkill, Northumberland and Dauphin Counties join.
Henry's, son of Heinrich, children settled in Union Co. and then
Illinois. Charles', son of Heinrich, children settled in Centre Co. Sons
George and Christopher stayed in Berks Co. Son Conrad was killed in the
Rev. War. Gladly share information with anyone interested.

FETTER, Philip emigrated from Rheinpfalz, Germany, fall of 1751,
settled in Mazatawnet Twp, Berks Co. Married Anna Maria Fissler,
also from Germany. Had eight sons: Philip, Jacob, Conrad, Adam,
Georg, John (Johan), Frederich and Heinrich. Some were baptized
and confirmed in Ziegel's Church, Weisenberg Twp. Lehigh Co.
Frederich married Catherina Schmidt of Berks Co. and they lived
for a time in Heidelberg Twp. Lehigh Co. Heinrich b. Sept 6, 1779
married Elisabeth Hartman b. Oct 19, 1781 in Whitehall Twp.
Lehigh Co. They also lived for a time in Heidelberg Twp. Lehigh
Co. About 1810, Frederich, Heinrich, and wives moved into upper
Schuylkill/lower Northumberland Co's. Am seeking any information
available:Ship's Lists, Birth, Confirmation, Marriage, Church, or
anything else anyone would have. Also, John was reported to have
moved dow around the Montgomery/Bucks Co. area. Adam, Conrad,
Jacob, and Philip moved across the Susquehanna River up into Snyder/

I am trying to find any information on my gggrandfather Stanton
BARNAMAN (BARNEMAN), b.Germany. Stanton married Betsy MOREY, b.
17 Mar 1838 in MI. Stanton and Betsy had at least one child, my
ggrandmother Phebe Ann BARNAMAN, b.5 Aug 1855 in Howell, Living-
ston Co., MI. My reason for posting this quiry on the PA net is
that Phebe had always said that she was PA Dutch. To date I
have been unable to find any more information on her parents
than is posted above, but it is likely that they spent some time
in PA before moving to MI. All help is appreciated.

Ancestral Information wanted on Joh. Casper KOCH, resident in Brecknock
township of Berks in 1752. His wife was Maria Magdalena. Their son
Johannes KOCH m. Regina RUFFNER. They were married at Trinity Lutheran in
reading in 1787. Regina is the dau. of Peter RUFFNER and Barbara. Peter
is possibly a son of Simon RUFFNER. I am seeking to determine if Casper
KOCH was the immigrant by finding warrant info and also want to determine
the RUFFNER immigrant.

Iam searching for the parents/ancestors of Philip Smith, b - possibly
around 1755. He married Mary? They had 3 sons, Jacob, William and Henry
Smith, Sr. Need information on Jacob and William Smith. It is possible
that Philip Smith was in Berks Co. and then Westmoreland Co. I am
searching for parents of William S. Hayes, b. 1853 and life long resident
of Unity Township, Westmoreland Co. He also resided in Greensburg
before moving to Unity township. He married Sarah Smith, daughter of
Henry Smith, Jr., on Sept. 26, 1872. I also need information on John
Fiscus, Sr. who married Ann Penrod, daughter of Michael Penrod. Since
William S. Hayes is my great grandfather, I am quite interested in his
ancestors and siblings. It might be that a Samuel S. Hays I found on an
1850 census could be his father. Any and all information will be greatly
appreciated and I am willing to share if a connection can be made. I
have noticed that the name Hays/Hayes is spelled both ways even in the
same family.

Fatinka Soltys and married in Beaver Meadows, PA.

sister to Matey who was lost after arrival.

on June 6, 1816 in Tazewell Co VA. Henry was born abt 1783 in PA
I believe his surname was Americanized because there are no
EPPERHARTs in PA. Jacob and John EBERHART are listed in the 1790
PA Heads of Families. Henry Johnson EPPERHART died in Rowan Co
