BOWSER/OSTERBURG COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1890.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 90 feet long.  The bridge crosses Bob's Creek and is located west of Rte. 869, 1.5 miles NW of Osterburg.

CLAYCOMB COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1880 and was originally built in Reynoldsdale.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 126 feet long.  It is located 1.5 miles north of Bedford on (Business) Rte. 220, at the entrance to Old Bedford Village.

COLVIN COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1894.  It is a Multiple Kingspost design.  The bridge crosses Shawnee creek and is 66 feet long.  It is located on Rte. 443 in Schellsburg.

CUPPETT'S COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1882.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 60 feet in length.  It is located near New Paris and is privately owned.

DR. KNISLEY COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1867.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 80 feet in length.  The bridge crosses Dunning Creek.  It is located just off Rte. 56, 1.5 miles from Pleasantville.  It is privately owned.

FELTEN'S MILL COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1892 to place a bridge (built in 1889) that was destroyed during the flood of 1889.  It is a Burr Truss type and is 100 feet long.  The bridge is just south of Breezewood and is privately owned.

HALL'S MILL COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1884; it is the seventh bridge to be constructed at this location.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 97 feet long.  It crosses Yellow Creek and is located in Hopewell township, on State Rte. 1020, off of Rte. 26, north of Everett.

HERLINE COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1902.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 136 feet long.  It crosses the Raystown branch of the Juniata River.  It is located on Watson Road, just off Rte. 31.

HEWITT COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1879.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 88.5 feet long.  It crosses Town Creek. It is located, south of Chaneysville, on Rte. 306.

JACKSON'S MILL COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1875 and is named for M. J. Jackson, owner of the nearby grist and sawmill.  It is a Burr Truss design and is 95 feet long.  The bridge is located on Rte. 412.

PALO ALTO COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1880 and is a multiple Kingspost design.  It is 56 feet long and crosses Gladden's Run.  It is located south of Rte. 3002, just west of Rte. 96 in Londonderry township.  The bridge is privately owned.

RYOT COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge is a Burr Truss design and is 83.5 feet long.  It crosses Dunnings Creek and is located on Rte. 539, 1/2 mile east of Ryot.  The original bridge was destroyed in a fire in 2002 and has been rebuilt.

SNOOKS COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1883 and is a Burr Truss design.  It is 82 feet long and crosses Dunnings Creek.  It is located north of Fishertown on Rte. 554, off of Rte. 56.

TURNER'S COVERED BRIDGE

This bridge was built in 1892 and is a Burr Truss design.  It is 89 feet long.  It is located on Rte. 418, 1/2 mile north of Rte. 31.
