Aliquippa was founded by the merger of three towns:
Aliquippa, Woodlawn, and New Sheffield
Settled in 1793
Incorporated in 1894
as a borough in 1928
and as a city in 1987

Beaver Falls

Originally called Brighton.
Beaver Falls was incorporated as a borough
on November 9, 1868, and incorporated
as a city on December 3, 1928
