Frazer Township

 

Frazer Township is a small rural community 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. Its population is just 1,157 and it is still considered a suburb of Pittsburgh.

Frazer’s beginnings started in 1914, named for Robert S. Frazer, a state politician. He was a lawyer who served as state legislator and judge of Common Pleas Court. He was also president judge of that court at the beginning of the 20th century. The township has a total area of 9.4 square miles.
