BROWN - HOWELL
[ BROWN is the Groom. ]
On Thursday evening, October 20, 1921, at 8 p. m., Rev. W. D. IRONS married
Mr. William John BROWN and Miss Ruth Elizabeth HOWELL, both of Carnegie.
The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's father.
Miss HOWELL is the only child of her parents. Those in attendance at the marriage were members of both families and a few friends.
After a fine dinner was served Mr. and Mrs. [HOWELL] started on a trip to visit
eastern and northern cities. They will make their home in Carnegie, Pa.

BROWN - HOWELL
[ BROWN is the Groom. ]
Mr. and Mrs. Harry HOWELL of Sixth street, Carnegie, announce the marriage of their
daughter, Miss Ruth Elizabeth HOWELL, to William J. BROWN, son of Mrs. Margaret BROWN of Bergman street,
Sheraden. The ceremony was performed in the
HOWELL home, Carnegie, at eight o'clock Thursday evening, October 20, 1921. The
Rev. Dr. W. D. IRONS of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald officiated.
The bride wore a traveling costume of navy blue with a corsage of orchids and
lilies of the valley. Her maid of honor, Miss Margaret BROWN, sister of the groom,
appeared in blue Canton crepe, with a corsage of sweetheart roses. G. B.
JAMES of Pittsburgh was best man. After a reception and dinner Mr. and Mrs. BROWN left
for an extended Eastern trip. The BROWN family formerly resided in Third street,
McDonald, and the groom is well known here. He is a passenger brakeman on our local
trains.

BROWN - HOGARTH
On Wednesday evening, in Pittsburg, Mr. Wm. H. BROWN and Miss Anna HOGARTH, both of McDonald.
The groom is an employe (sic) at the SAUTERS meat house. The newly married couple will live in the SMITH house on the corner of Noblestown and Arabella streets.

BROWNING - SCHWAB
Miss LOIS SCHWAB, daughter of Mrs. DORA SCHWAB of R.D. 4, McDonald, and Mr. and Mrs. GUY T. BROWNING, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. GUY T. BROWNING of Southview, were united in marriage Friday afternoon, May 10, 1940, in the manse of the First Presbyterian church, Burgettstown, the pastor, the Rev. R. E. CARMAN, performing the ring ceremony.
The bride wore a navy blue traveling ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of gardenias. The bridesmaid, Miss RUTH STRAIN of McDonald, wore navy blue with white accessories and a corsage of sweetpeas. Mr. MYRON SCHWAB, brother of the bride served as
bestman.
Following the ceremony, the young couple left on a motor trip to Cleveland, Ohio, Niagara Falls, N.Y. and other points of interest.
Mrs. BROWNING is a 1936 graduate of Hickory high school. Mr. BROWNING, a 1934 graduate of Hickory high school,
is employed by the Pittsburgh Coal Co.
