Mike Seminich, Jr. injured in mowing accident

While helping to cut hay on land owned by the National Mining company at
National No. 3, Cecil township, on Thursday of last week, Mike SEMINICH,
Jr., 13 year-old son of Mike SEMINICH of National No. 3 was caught by the
cutter bar of a mowing machine and his left leg so badly lacerated that
amputation was necessary. The accident occurred, it is said, when the boy
attempted to make the horses that were drawing the machine move more rapidly.
Before he could step aside the machine was upon him, and when it was stopped,
the leg was found to be horribly mangled. His condition was reported good at
the hospital last Friday.
