Mrs. Phoebe Willow, wife of Samuel Willow was buried 24 Aug 1902

at Daniel's Church. Aged 63 years and 6 months. Rev. 7-14.

Albert, son of Bro. and Sister Bennett Kauffman, died 4 Jan 1903.

Aged 2 years, 10 months and 16 days. Buried at the Mennonite Church

Katherine, wife of Jacob G. Graybill, died 5 May 1905. Aged one day

Hannah, wife of Benjamin F. Naugle was born 23 May 1839 and died 13

Rev. Elias Landis was born 4 Apr 1822 and died 26 Jan 1904. Aged 81

Rev. Landis was a minister in the Brethren Church for thirty-five

years.



GRAYBILL, DAVID SR.

David Graybill, Sr. was born 21 Oct 1821 and died 3 Oct 1903. Aged

81 years, 11 months and 18 days. Buried at Pine Church with

Miss Jane Wilk of Knousetown Pa. died 1 Jan 1905 aged about 50

years.

Fianna, wife of Isaiah Troup was born 1842 and died 2 Feb 1905.

John Graybill, son of Peter W. and Annie Graybill was born 16 Aug

1879 met death by accident at Loraine Ohio on 17 May 1905. Aged 25

Jacob Landis was born 29 Jan 1816 and died 30 May 1905. Aged 89

years, 4 months and 1 day. About 1842 he was united in marriage to

Fannie Graybill. To this union was born eight children. Funeral at

Henry A. Auker was born 4 Jun 1840 and died 13 Oct 1905. Aged 65

Susan Landis Bryant, widow of the late Scott Bryant, died 28 Sep

1906. Aged 65 years, 11 months and 11 days. Her husband preceded

BENNER, JOSIAH

Josiah Benner died 27 Sep 1906, at his home near Selinsgrove Pa.

Aged 62 years and 3 months. He is survived by his wife, aged mother

and 12 sons and daughters, all present. Funeral services in Luthers

Church at Richfield Pa. on 1 Oct 1906 by Rev. Snavel and Myself.



FRANTZ, MOLLIE 

Miss Mollie Frantz was born 22 May 1843 and died near Richfield Pa.

on 22 Oct 1906. Aged 63 years and 5 months. Buried in the Lutheran

KEMRER, HENRY N.

Henry N. Kemrer was born in Perry Twp., Snyder Co. Pa. on 23 Jan

1884 and met death by accident on 31 Oct 1906. Funeral from the

home of his parents, Samuel and Sarah Kemrer, Sunday 4 Nov 1906.

Interment at Arbogasts Church. The deceased was a member of the

Evangelical Church for three years.

Sara Bergey was born 7 Apr 1888 and died 7 Sep 1908. Aged 20 years

and 5 months her death was the ninth out of the family. One

brother, one sister, father and mother, and grandmother survived

WINEY, SUSAN

Susan Winey, widow of Joseph Winey, was born 29 Nov 1826 and died

7 Sep 1908. Aged 81 years, 9 months and 8 days. She was married to

Joseph G. Winey on 12 Dec 1850 and they were blessed with 6

children. (3 sons and 3 daughters) Two daughter preceded her to the

spirit world 46 years ago and her husband 10 years ago. Funeral on

9 Sep 1908 at 2:00 p.m. by B.S. Winey and Myself.



KNOUSE, SOLOMON

Solomon Knouse was born 31 Dec 1846 and died 24 1908. Aged 61

years, 8 months and 23 days. He was married to Louisa Smith and

this union was blessed with 8 children, two daughters preceded him.

Funeral 27 Sep at St. Peters.



BRUBAKER, MOSES

Moses Brubaker was born near Port Trevorton, Snyder County Pa. on

14 May 1845 and died 3 Nov 1908. Aged 63 years, 5 months and 9

days. Married in 1865 to  Phebe Himold and this union was blessed

with 7 children (6 sons and 1 daughter). The oldest son preceded

him and his wife died Nov 1878. In Nov 1879 he was again married to

Molly Himold, who survives him with 5 sons, 1 daughter and 30

grandchildren. Funeral on 6 Nov at the church near Port Trevorton,

Pa. by Wm. Sieber and Myself.



BALDWIN, PYLE

Pyle Baldwin was born in Chester County Pa. on 16 Mar 1831 and died

near Richfield Pa. on 23 Nov 1908. Aged 77 years, 8 months and 4

days. Funeral at Neimonds Church.



AMEY, ED

Ed Amey was born 11 Dec 1891 and died 30 Nov 1908. Aged 16 years,

11 months and 18 days. Three brothers and five sisters survive him

with a widowed mother. Funeral services by E.E. Gilbert and Myself

in the Lutheran Church, Richfield Pa. Interment at Pine Church.



KISSINGER, CHARLES

Charles Kissinger was born near Freburg Pa. on 5 Apr 1851 and died

29 Jan 1909. Aged 57 years, 9 months and 24 days. He was the father

of 13 children of which 5 preceded him to the spirit world. Funeral

services by Rev. Reber of Middleburg Circuit and Myself at the

Ebenezer Church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.



LAUVER, MARGARET PATTON

Margaret Patton Lauver, wife of John Lauver of Milroy Pa. was born

at Thompsontown Pa. 15 Oct 1880 and died at Milroy 13 Jul 1909.

Aged 28 years, 8 months and 28 days. Funeral at Thomsontown,

Ira Benner Benner was born 21 May 1887 and was shot 31 Aug 1909.

Benjamin Frontz was born 16 Apr 1834 and died 24 Mar 1909. Aged 74

Mrs. Annie Rhoads, wife of Ed Rhoads was born 16 Sep 1857 and died

7 Jan 1910. Aged 52 years, 3 months and 21 days. She was a daughter

Adam Rumbach was born 25 Aug 1854 and died 16 Jan 1910. Aged 55

SHIRK, LIZZIE GRAYBILL

Lizzie Graybill Shirk, wife of Caleb Shirk, was born 5 Jun 1861 and

died 23 Jan 1910. Aged 48 years, 7 months and 18 days. She was the

second daughter of Christain and Susanna Graybill. She was united

in marriage to C.B. Shirk. To this union were born 4 sons and one

daughter. She took sick and died at the home of Fred G. Moyer.

Hazel Verdilla Shellenberger, infant child of Christian and

Rev. William Bergey was born 12 Mar 1845 and died 14 Jul 1910. Aged

Kate Shelley. This union was blessed with eleven children.

Samuel J. Snyder was born 7 Jun 1845 and died 13 Sep 1910. Aged 65

years, 3 months and 6 days. He was first married to Sarah Brouse of

wife was Ellen Youngman. Buried at Richfield Pa.

Sarah Puffenberger Hood, second wife of Miles Hood, was born at

Mifflintown Pa. on 3 Sep 1837 and died 17 Sep 1910. Aged 73 years

Ethel L. Finkbiner, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George

Finkenbiner was born 8 Mar 1910 and died 19 Sep 1910. Aged 6 months

Mary Auker, widow of John S. Auker, was born 15 Nov 1826 and died

Annie E. Kerstetter, wife of H.S. Kerstetter, was born 27 Nov 1862

and died 10 Dec 1910. Aged 48 years, 8 months and 13 days. She

suffered from burns for about 9 months. Buried at Arbogast Church.



HOOD, MILES

Miles Hood was born on 23 Jun 1843 and died 17 Dec 1910. Aged 67

years, 5 months, and 24 days. Four sons, four daughters and 26

grandchildren survive. Buried at Richfield by Rev. Erb and Myself.



ROUSH, ISABELLA

Isabella Roush was born on 26 Oct 1831 and died 29 Dec 1910. Aged

79 years, 2 months and 3 days. She was twice married. Her first

husband was Samuel Hackmaster. Her second marriage was to Joshua M.

Roush, who also preceded her to the Spirit world. In 1851 she was

converted and united with the United Brethren Church in which she

had been a faithful member until God caller her home. Services were

at the U.B. Church at Richfield Pa. by Rev. Erb and E.W. G.



BENNER, SALLIE

Sallie Benner, widow of Jacob Benner was born on 10 May 1825 and

died 1 Jan 1911. Aged 85 years, 7 months and 21 days. She was

united in marriage to Jacob Benner in 1843 and to this union were

born 13 children, 8 still living. She has 233 direct descendants,

13 children, 85 grandchildren, 129 great grandchildren and 6 great

great grandchildren. Early in life she confessed Christ and united

with the Dunkard Church where she was a consistant member until

death. Service in the Lutheran Church at Richfield Pa. by Rev. P.G.

Shelley and Myself.



WILLOW, SAMUEL

Samuel Willow was born on 28 Nov 1831 and died 1 Feb 1911. Aged 79

years, 2 months and 3 days. He was the father of 11 children. The

funeral was at Daniels Church and was conducted by A.S. Bierly and

Myself.



PAGE, MRS. JACOB

Susan A. Kanvill, wife of Jacob Page was born on 1 Sep 1853 and

died 1 Mar 1911. Aged 57 years and 6 months. In 1875 she was

married to Jacob Page of Freemont Pa. To this union were born 11

children. The funeral was held in the U.B. Church at Mt. Pleasant

Mills, Pa. by Rev. Beirly and Myself.



SWARTZ, DAVID W.

David W. Swartz was born on 13 Feb 1822 and died 4 Apr 1911. Aged

89 years, 1 month, and 21 days. He was united in marriage to

Susanna Lauver in 1845. To this union were born 3 children (2 sons

and 1 daughter), Jacob L., David L, and Kate Anna, married to Sol

Ray Bashor, son of Isaac and Minnie Bashor, died 7 Apr 1911. Aged

Emily May Whitely, infant daughter of Abram and Carrie Whitely,

WINEY, SUSAN SHIRK

Susan Shirk Winey, wife of John G. Winey, was born on 9 Jun 1840

and died 29 Jan 1912. Aged 71 years, 7 months and 11 days. On 20

Dec 1860 she was united in marriage to John G. Winey. To this union

were born 7 sons and 2 daughters and 16 grandchildren. Her husband,

1 son, 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren preceded her to the Spirit

World. She was a consistant member of the Mmnnonite Church for

nearly 1/2 century. Funeral on 23 Feb at Richfield Mennonite

LAUVER, CATHERINE

Cahterine Lauver, wife of the late Solomon Lauver Sr., was born 13

Jun 1825 and died 12 Mar 1912. Aged 86 years, 7 months and 29 days.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Samuel Stroup, and one

granddaughter and five great grandchildren. Funeral service at

Neimonds Church on 15 Mar by Rev. Hoffer and Myself.



PYLE, NETTIE GRAYBILL

Nettie Graybill Pyle was born on 31 Mar 1890 and died 31 Mar 1912.

Aged 22 years. In 1910 she was united in marriage to John Pyle.

This union was blessed with 1 child, aged 2 months at mothers

Judith was born 5 Sep 1833. She was united in marriage to Jonas

Long of Pfoutz Valley. This union was blessed with three children.

Two sons and one daughter. Her first husband preceded her to the

spirit world many years. She was again married to Peter Lauver and

on 21 Jan 1914 she died at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 15

days. She was a faithful member of the Dunkard church. Funeral at

the home of her son Colter Long. Interment in a family burying

ground in Pfoutz Valley. By myself.

David, son of Josia and Mrs. Messimer was born 18 Aug 1873 and died

18 Feb 1915. Aged 41 years and 6 months. We was united in marriage

to Levina Brown. This union was blessed with six children all

KERSTETTER, HENRY W.

Henry W. Kerstetter was born (date unknown) and died at his home in

West Perry Township 1 Mar 1915. Aged 75 years of acute indigestion.

He was united in marriage to Mrs. Jane Bargo. This union was

blessed with six children. Funeral at Arbogasts Church by Rev.

Hilds and Myself. Text "Let me die the death of the righteous."



DRESSLER, GLADYS

Gladys Dressler daughter of Geo W. and Ida Dressler died 7 Mar

1915. Aged 9 years. Funeral held in U.B. Church Richfield by Rev.

Hrim of Millerstown M.E.C. and myself. Text 23rd Psalm. "The Lord

is my shepherd."



LAUVER, MRS. ELIZABETH

Mrs. Elizabeth Lauver widow of the late Reuben Lauver was born near

Richfield 31 Jul 1836, daughter of Jacob and Mary Graybill, died in

Milroy Pa. 14 Mar 1915. Aged 78 years, 7 months, and 13 days. She

was the mother to twelve children, six sons and six daughters.

Three children preceded her to the spirit world. Those who survive

are Mrs. Samuel Oberholtzer, Milroy; Mr. Ammon Lauver, Bellville

Pa.; Jacob I. Lauver, Richfield Pa.; Thos. John and Reuben of

Milroy; Mrs. John Riehl and Mrs Wolf of Lewisburg Pa.; and Miss

Annie at home at Milroy Pa. Also twenty four grandchildren. Funeral

at Lauvers Mennonite Church near Evendale by Rev. William Seiber

and myself. Text Rev. 14:13.



MOYER, JOHN W.

John W. Moyer of near Evendale Pa. ws born in Montgomery Co. Pa. 27

Feb 1838 and died 12 May 1908. Aged 70 years, 2 months and 15 days.

He was united to Mary Lauver. This union was blessed with six sons

and one daughter. Funeral at Lauvers Church by my father and

myself.



STEIMLING, LUCINDA ANN SEARER

Lucinda Ann, widow of William Steimling at Kellerville Pa. was born

14 Jul 1836. She was married to William Steimling on 6 Feb 1853.

This union was blessed with twelve children, eight sons and four

daughters. Six sons and two daughters preceded her in death. Two

sons, two daughters, 41 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren

survive. Died 28 Mar 1915. Aged 78 years, 8 months and 14 days.

ARNOLD, JAMES

James Arnold son of Adam and Elizabeth Arnold was born 5 Oct 1881

and died 29 Mar 1915. Aged 32 years, 5 months and 24 days. In 1889

he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Smith. this union was

blessed with ten children. Funeral at Linengers Chruch.



BASOM, SARAH MATILDA INCH

Sarah, wife of John M. Basom was born 17 Mar 1870. Was united in

marriage to J.M.B. 2 Jun 1889. This union was blessed with nine

children. Died 7 Apr 1915. Aged 45 years and 20 days. Funeral first

one held in the United Evangelical Church. Services by Rev. Keller

her pastor and myself.



RAMER, ELIZA AMANDA

Eliza Amanda Ramer wife of George Ramer in Neitz Valley was born 16

Aug 1852 and died Sunday night 11 Apr 1915. Aged 62 years, 7 months

and 25 days. She was united in marriage to Geo. Ramer 23 Nov 1871.

This union was blessed with ten children, four sons and six

daughters. One son and two daughters preceded her in death. She was

a faithful member of the Mennonite Church for 30 years. Funeral at

Ebenezer Church by myself.



WATTS, MRS. BARBARA

Barbara, widow of Thomas G. Watts was born 30 Oct 1833 and died 13

Apr 1915. Aged 81 years, 7 months and 13 days. They lived in

married life sixty years. This union was blessed with eleven

children, 47 grandchildren and 77 great grandchildren. Funeral at

Neimonds Church on 16 Apr 1915. By myself.



NEIMOND, MARY J. NEE  JEFFERIES

Mary, wife of James Niemond died 18 May 1915 at the age of 57

years, 5 months and 24 days.



AUKER, MRS. ESTHER ARBOGAST

Esther, wife of Jacob Auker was born 13 Jan 1854 and died 22 May

1915. Aged 61 years, 4 months and 9 days. She was the mother of

eleven children. One son preceded her. Survived five sons, five

daughters and 28 grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the

Mennonite Church 35 years. Funeral was held at Arbogast Church.

Interment in adjoining cemetery.



ZEIDERS, BERTRAM WALTER

Bertram Walter son of Frank and Lottie (Niemond) Zeiders was born

31 Jul 1907 and died 25 May 1915. Aged 7 years, 10 months and 24

days. Funeral at Neimonds Church.

Catherine, widow of the late Henry Lauver was born 22 Jan 1851 and

died 21 Jul 1915 near Dallas Pa. Aged 64 years, 5 months and 29

days. She was the mother of ten children. Funeral at Grubbs Church

Hannah Marshall. This union was blessed with 8 children. He served

in Co. G. 3rd Regt. U.S. Calvary 3 years and 9 months. A member of

the U.B. Church 30 years where interment was made. Services by

Rev. Abram Snyder, Roaring Springs Pa. was born 12 Mar 1841 died 11

Sep 1916 aged 75 years, 5 month, and 18 days. On 7 Sep 1867 he was

united to Susan Grove, Huntingdon Co. This union was blessed with

six sons and one daughter. Isac, Jacob G., Daniel, John, Herman and

daughters and one son and his wife preceded him to the spirit

Wife of Tobias Landis was born 13 Oct 1852 died 11 Jan 1917 at the

age of 64 years, 2 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage

to Tobias Landis 13 Mar 1870. This union was blessed with 12

children, 6 sons, and 6 daughters, 28 grandchildren and 2 great

grandchildren. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran

Church and later became a member of the Mennonite Church. Where she

was a faithful member until death removed her. Funeral at the

Wife of Andrew Fergeson was born 22 Aug 1842 died 10 Feb 1917 at

the age of 74 years, 5 months and 18 days. She was faithful member

of the Evangelical Church for 40 years. Funeral services at Maze,

Wife of William Gamby was born 24 Nov 1847 and died 5 Apr 1917 at

Wife of Abram Rennels of Philadelphia was born 6 Sep 1833 died in

Turkey Valley 23 Aug 1917 aged 83 years, 11 months and 17 days. She

was a member of the Ashbury M.E. Church Philadephia. Funeral at

STROUP, ELIZABETH

Wife of Emanuel Stroup was born 28 Jul 1849 died 6 May 1917 at the

age of 67 years, 9 months and 8 days. She was united in marriage to

S.S. Stroup. This union was blessed with 12 children, 7 boys and 5

SNYDER, REV. HERMAN

Rev. Herman Snyder of Roaring Springs, Pa. was born 15 Aug 1879 was

united in marriage to Elizabeth Zook. This union was blessed with

four children. Three preceding him in death. He was ordained to the

ministry, (1810?) in the Mennonite Church. On 12 Sep 1917 he came

to his death in the R.R. shop at Altoona at the age of 38 years and

SWARTZ, JOHN E.

Son of John J. and Elizabeth Swartz was born 69 years ago. He was

united in marriage to Annie Gaugler. One child died in infancy.

Elmira Spatzer widow of Henry Lauver was born 8 Nov 1856. She was

remarried to Henry Lauver on the 13th of May 1916. She was baptized

and united with the Richfield Pa. Mennonite Church. On Sat 1 Dec

1917 she died at the age of 61 years, 23 days. Funeral at Neimonds

Sarah was born 14 Mar 1863 died 15 Dec 1917. She was united in

marriage to James Hornberger. This union was blessed with 5

children, and 10 grandchildren. She was a member of the Lutheran

Elizabeth was born in Byre, Germany 27 Dec 1822 and died at

days. She was united in marriage to Leonard Rhoads. This union was

blessed with 8 children, 22 grandchildren and 36 great

Son of Abram and Francies Winey was born 1 Dec 1860 died at

Wernersville Pa. State Hospital 14 Apr 1918 aged 57 years, 4 months

Eva Anna was born 8 Feb 1839 and died 20 Jun 1918 aged 79 years, 6

months and 12 days. On the 23rd day of Dec 1858 she was united in

marriage to Joseph Sellers. This union was blessed with 3 sons, 19

grandchildren. She was baptized in infancy and united with the

Lutheran Church in her youth. Funeral at the Brick Mennonite Church
