One of the original townships created when Centre County was formed. In 1839, it was transferred to the newly formed Clinton County.
Tax assessment records for Bald Eagle Township from 1801 to 1839 can be found in the basement of the Centre County Library and Historical Museum in Bellefonte. Persons wishing to use these records must first sign the Guest Researcher register in the Pennsylvania Room.
