ANDREW P. NELSON
1928
Andrew P. Nelson, aged 84 years seven months and 29 days, died some time Saturday night at his home on the Irvine Run road in Brokenstraw township, after an illness of about five years.
Because of the fact that no physician had been in attendance, Coroner Ed Lowrey was notified and, after an investigation, issed a certificate of death from natural causes, and principal ailments being heart trouble and dropsy.
Mr. Nelson was born in Sweden, but had resided in the vicinity where his death occurred for the last fifty years. During his younger days he was noted as one of the most powerful men in the country.
His wife and a sister, Mrs. Anna L. Peterson, Route 81, Jamestown, N.H. survive.
It is expected the funeral will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock and the interment will be in the Lutheran church cemetery at Chandlers Valley.

MORTINUS NELSON
1908
As a result of an accident sustained at the works of the Warren Axe and Tool company Tuesday afternoon, Mortinus Nelson died at the Emergency Hospital Tuesday evening at nine o'clock. The man's skull was frightfully injured by a piece of a grindstone that burst while he was engaged in grinding an axe.
Deceased was 21 years of age and was born in Denmark. He came to this country 18 months ago and entered the employ of the Axe company. His parents reside in Denmark as well as brothers and sisters. He has a brother, Adolph Nelson, at Russell, who is the only relative in this country.
Services will be held from No. 19 Linwood street Thursday afternoon at two o'clock and from the Danish Lutheran church on Fourth street at three o'clock. Interment in Oakland cemetery.

HENRY NEWBERRY
1908
Death came to Henry Newberry Friday evening at 11:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Miss Rose Newberry, of 228 Penn. Ave. W. Deceased was 75 years of age and resided in Warren for many years. He had been in delicate health for some time and a fall he sustained a few years ago doubtless hastened death.
There are nine surviving children: H. C. Newberry, of Mill Creek, W. Va.; Roe Newberry, Igerna, California; J. M. Newberry, Oil City, Pa.; Mrs. M. Seeker, North Adams, Mass.; Mrs. James Jeffords, Sheffield, Pa.; Mrs. H. G. Stevens, Nansen, Pa.; Mrs. Millie Jerman, Mrs. Vinnie Silvis and Miss Rose Newberry, of Warren.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of Miss Rose Newberry, Penn. Ave. W. and the interment will be in Oakland.

HELEN MATILDA NORDINE
1908
The death of Helen Matilda Nordine, aged two years and four months, and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Nordine, of Wetmore street, occurred this morning at one o'clock. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and the interment will be in Ludlow.

ELLEN (PIERCE) NORTHRUP
1927
Word was received in Warren yesterday of the death of Mrs. Ellen Pierce Northrup, at her home at Ripley, N.Y.. Mrs. Northrup, who is the sister of John Pierce, 1409 Pennsylvania, west, has been in poor health for some time, but was not seriously ill, until she was taken at two o'clock Friday a.m. with a heart attack. She was S1 [sic] years of age. Mrs. Northrup has visited many times in Warren and has a host of friends here who will mourn her decease.
Another sister, Mrs. Louise House, Kane; a brother, Frank Pierce, Torpedo; Jessie, Orrin, Earl and Wren Northrup, Ripley, and Mrs. Charles Lehman, children, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from home at Ripley, with interment in the Rapley [sic] cemetery.

CHARLES NUTTALL
1927
Charles Nuttall died early Thursday morning at his home in Sugargrove township after an illness of six years. He leaves his wife, Emma Saunders Nuttall, a son, Donald, three daughters, Maud, Grace, and Ina, all at home and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. R. H. Winger and Mrs. Oscar Johnson, of Warren, and Mrs. A. B. Bradley, of New York. Two brothers, Frank, of Steamburg, N. Y.; Delo, of Los Angeles, Calif., and one half-brother, Ellsworth Nuttall, of Los Angeles, California. Mr. Nuttall was born and lived his entire life on the farm which came to him from his father, Henry Nuttall. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Stillson Hill church, preceded by a prayer service at the home at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Stillson Hill cemetery, the Rev. P. E. Smith of Chandlers Valley U. B. church officiating.
