February 23, 2009 Added a new Newspaper Extracts feature page titled Some Marriage & Estate Notices - 1855 to 1886 [wJF01] as contributed by Jessica Franks. Linked this page to the Newspaper Index page and to the Pine Grove Township Index page.

February 6, 2009 Modified the Miscellaneous feature page titled Some Early Postmasters 1826 to 1874 [wBMR11] by adding the jpg images of the source pages.

January 29, 2009 Added four items to the PAGenWeb Archives section.

January 13, 2009 Added a new major index page titled County Resources [Wsys12].

January 3, 2009 Updated copyright statement for 2009. Updated home page to reflect 2009.

December 6, 2008 Added three more of Mary Anderson's Marriage Index Books - 8, 9, and 10, covering 1915 to 1922. Updated the Marriage Index index page and the main Vital Records index page to reflect the three new pages.

November 16, 2008 Updated the home page to reflect the change of month and to include a Happy Holidays for November and December.

October 8, 2008 Updated the Census Index page to reflect NARA microfilm roll numbers and to cross reference to the archives. Updated the Cemetery Index page to add all cemetery names listed in the achives. Cross reference will eventually be made to the archive pages.

October 1, 2008 Updated the home page to reflect the new month and to thank the main contributors to date.

September 28, 2008 Added a new School feature page titled Columbus Township - Dean High School [wBU07] as contributed by Bimmy Urso. This page has been linked to the Columbus Township index page and to the School index page. Added a sign photo of the Westlawn Cemetery to the page of the same name as provided by Bimmy Urso.

September 27, 2008 Added a new Miscellaneous feature page titled Some Early Postmasters 1826 to 1874 [wBMR11] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. This page has been linked to the Everything Else Misc page only. Note that this page was created on September 16th but not able to be uploaded at that time.

September 13, 2008 Added a new History feature page titled Warren County Historical Road Markers [wBMR10] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. This page has been linked to the History index page and to the Everything Else Misc page.

September 12, 2008 Modified the Columbus Township index page to add two photographs supplied by Bimmy Urso. Modified the David Curtis Cemetery index page to add a cemetery sign photo as contributed by Bimmy Urso. Added a new Cemetery feature page titled Wrightsville Cemetery as suggested by Bimmy Urso. This page has been linked to the Cemetery Index page and to the Freehold Township page. Created and added to the home page the shell for the Newspapers Extract Index [Wsys15]. Added a new Census Records feature page titled 1930 Spring Creek Township Census [wBMR09] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Linked this page to the Census Records index page and to the Spring Creek Township index page. Added a new Cemetery feature page titled Westlawn Cemetery Land Agreement as contributed by Bimmy Urso. Linked this page to the Cemetery Index page, the Land Records index page, and the Columbus Township index page.

September 11, 2008 No work done in memory of all those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001.

September 10, 2008 Modified the Columbus Township index page and the Township Index page to reflect Bimmy Urso as township helper. Included a welcome letter from Bimmy on the Columbus Township page.

September 9, 2008 Created and added the shell for the Land Records index page [Wsys21] and the Family Histories index page [Wsys22]. Added the appropriate links on the home page.

September 8, 2008 Added two new Cemetery feature pages from information submitted by Betty Matteson Rhodes. The two pages are titled East Branch Cemetery [wBMR07] and West Spring Creek Cemetery [wBMR08]. Both pages have been linked to the Cemetery Index page and the Spring Creek Township index page. Modified the Cemetery Index page to include several cemeteries that will be added in the future.

September 7, 2008 Created and added the shell index page for Warren County Military [Wsys20]. Although this page contains no user contributions to date, there are a number of off-site links included on the page. Updated the home page to include the link to the Military Index page. Modified the GenWeb Archives home page to create an upper level index for most categories. Added a new Church and Church Related feature page titled Youngsville Evangelical United Methodist Church [wNG01] from information submitted by Net Gerber. This page has been linked to the Church and Church Records index page and to the Brokenstraw Township index page. Added four new Cemetery feature pages from information submitted by Bimmy Urso. All four pages have been linked to the Cemetery Index page. Two of the pages, David Curtis Cemetery [wBU01] and Westlawn Cemetery [wBU02], have been linked to the Columbus Township index page. The other two pages, Bear Lake Cemetery [wBU04] and Pine Valley Cemetery [wBU03], have been linked to the Freehold Township index page.

September 6, 2008 Created and posted three alphabetical listings for the Marriage Index books from 1885 to 1915. These listings cover the males, Grooms - A to E, Grooms - F to O, and Grooms - P to Z. Linked these pages to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page. Updated the Courthouse and Vital Records index page to reflect all Marriage Index books and alphabetical listings added to date. Created and added the Old-Time Photos index shell page [Wsys11]. Updated the home page to include the link. Re-indexed the PICO Search Engine. There are now 60 documents for 80 pages indexed. Added a new Old-Time Photos feature titled Old Photos from Spring Creek Circa 1903 [wBMR06] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Linked this page to the Old-Time Photos index page and to the Spring Creek Township index page.

September 5, 2008 Created and posted three alphabetical listings for the Marriage Index books from 1885 to 1915. These listings cover the females, Brides - A to E, Brides - F to O, and Brides - P to Z. Linked these pages to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page.

September 4, 2008 Updated the Courthouse and Vital Records index page to reflect the 6 Marriage Index books added to date. Updated the home page to add a link to Forest County PAGenWeb site. Added Courthouse and Vital Records feature page for the Marriage Index Book 1. Linked this page to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page. Corrected an error on the home page to link the History Index page [Wsys10] previously created on August 30th.

September 3, 2008 Added Courthouse and Vital Records feature pages for the Marriage Index Book 5, Book 6, and Book 7. These cover the period 1903 to 1915. The three books together contain about 6700 names! All marriage index material has been contributed by Mary Anderson. These pages have been linked to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page. Also added was an additional page of 28 names from extra marriage records supposedly from 1852-1853. This page was also linked to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page.

September 2, 2008 Added Courthouse and Vital Records feature page for the Marriage Index Book 4. This covers the period 1901 to 1903 and contain about 800 names. All marriage index material has been contributed by Mary Anderson. This page have been linked to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page.

September 1, 2008 Added Courthouse and Vital Records feature pages for the Marriage Index Book 2 and Marriage Index Book 3. These cover the period 1889 to 1901 and contain about 4200 names. All marriage index material has been contributed by Mary Anderson. These pages are very large and very slow to load, even with a high speed connection. Both pages have been linked to the Marriage Index index page and to the Courthouse and Vital Records page. Updated the home page to include a special thank you for two large contributions.

August 29, 2008 Created and added the shell for the Warren County Schools index page [Wsys24]. Added a Schools feature page titled Spring Creek Township - Spring Creek School 1915 [wBMR04] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Linked this page to the Spring Creek Township index page and to the Schools Index page.

August 28, 2008 Created and added the shell for the County Courthouse & Vital Records Information index page [Wsys08]. There are several off-site links already established on the page. Created and added the Marriage Records Index page [Wsys09]. Linked this page to the County Courthouse & Vital Records Information index page.

August 27, 2008 Added a Cemetery feature page titled Cemetery Listings from Find A Grave [Wsys06]. Linked this page to the Cemetery Index page only. Created and added the PAWARREN mailing list instructions page [Wsys07]. Added appropriate links on the home page. Added a new major category on the home page for the USGenWeb/PAGenWeb archives. Moved the major category for Rootsweb Message Boards further down the page (minor redesign).

August 26, 2008 Added a Faces of Warren County feature page titled Spring Creek Band 1914 [wBMR02] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Added a Faces of Warren County feature page titled Robert Houghwout Jackson [wBMR03] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Linked both pages to the Spring Creek Township index page and to the Faces of Warren County index page.

August 25, 2008 Created and added the shell for the Cemetery Index page [Wsys17]. This page has no data at this time. Created and added the shell for the Church Records index page [Wsys19]. This page also has no data at this time. Created and added the shell for the Faces of Warren County index page [Wsys23]. This page has no data to date, but does have a link to Teri Brown's Pennsylvania Old Time Photos for Warren Co.

August 24, 2008 Created and added the shell for the Census Records Index page [Wsys18]. This page does contain some off-site links and is set up to easily add data pages. Added township organization dates to the township index page. This information was provided by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Created and added the shell for the Everything Else Misc index page [Wsys16]. Added a feature Everything Else Misc article titled Blue Eyes Skimming Station [wBMR01] as contributed by Betty Matteson Rhodes. Linked this article to the Spring Creek Township index page and to the Everything Else Goes Here misc index page.

August 23, 2008 Added the final three township shell pages - Mead [Wsys38], Pine Grove [Wsys39], and Pittsfield [Wsys40]. Updated the township index page with these three townships. Added a free PICO Search Engine to the web site home page.

August 22, 2008 Created and added the Old Maps Index page [Wsys05]. Added off-site links to several old maps including an 1895 map of the county. Added a new Old Maps feature page titled Allegheny National Forest Heritage Oil Map [wJB01]. Linked only to the Old Maps Index page. Added three more township shell pages - Farmington [Wsys34], Glade [Wsys36], and Pleasant [Wsys41]. Updated the township index page with these three townships.

August 21, 2008 Added township page shells for Limestone [Wsys37] and Sheffield [Wsys42]. Added a photo of early Sheffield to the Sheffield Township page. Linked both townships to the township index page. Added a photo of Kinzua Dam to the home page. Created and added the Current Maps Index page [Wsys04]. Added an off-site link to Ed McClelland's Warren Co and township maps to the Current Maps Index page.

August 20, 2008 Created and uploaded this What's New page [Wsys03]. Added several more township page shells. Linked Brokenstraw [Wsys27], Cherry Grove [Wsys28], Columbus [Wsys29], Conewango [Wsys30], Deerfield [Wsys31], Eldred [Wsys32], Elk [Wsys33], Freehold [Wsys35], Southwest [Wsys43], Spring Creek [Wsys44], Sugar Grove [Wsys45], Triumph [Wsys46], and Watson [Wsys47] townships to the township index page.

August 17, 2008 Uploaded initial home page for Warren County (PA) [Wsys01] based on Erie County (PA) home page. This page will be the basis for a replacement USGenWeb\PAGenWeb affiliated site for the county. The new site is needed as the previous site was removed from affiliation. Bill Klauk has agreed to initiate this new site on a temporary basis. From Bill Klauk: "I am looking forward to our partnership!"
