The very small Saint Mary's Orthodox Cemetery is located in the village of Columbus on the north side of US Hwy 6. There is no sign and the small cluster of stones sit well back from the road. A cemetery easy to drive by without notice.
On either side of the large level lot are a line of big maples that run north-south; the back of the grounds are defined by an old fence, a large pine and additional deciduous trees. Shrubs, but no trees, dot the grounds. The large white orthodox cross dominates the well maintained cemetery.

Driving directions from the Hickory Street bridge in Warren (about 26 miles, 35 minutes): drive west on Pennsylvania Ave W/US-6 (business route) along the Allegheny River. US Hwy 62 will join with US 6 before you leave Warren. The highways will become a free-access 4-lane. Drive approximately 26 miles, through Starbrick, west to Youngsville (where PA 27 will join with US 6), and on to Pittsfield (where US 6 will split with PA 27) and head north, still on US 6. Approaching Columbus, cross a RR track.
US 6 will parallel the RR tracks as it skirts the village on the north and heads toward Corry. Watch for PA 957 (or Pike Road) to merge on the right, followed by a small cluster of commercial businesses, then several homes. Slow down to see the cemetery's small grassy entrance on the east side of the grounds. If you reach the traffic light at Scotts Crossing Road, you have gone too far.
While you cannot drive through the cemetery, parking on this entrance road makes access to the gravestones an easy walk. US 6 is a very busy and high-speed road, so use caution when entering and exiting Saint Mary's.
