This small cemetery is not visible from the much traveled highway 27 between Enterprise and Warren.

Driving directions from the Hickory Street bridge in Warren (almost 32 miles; 42 minutes): go west on Pennsylvania Ave W/US-6 (business route) along the Allegheny River. US Hwy 62 will join with US 6 before you leave Warren and the highways will become a free-access 4-lane. Drive through Starbrick, west to Youngsville (where PA 27 will join with US 6), and on to Pittsfield where US 6 will split with PA 27. Stay on PA 27 through Garland and Grand Valley. Past the village of Grand Valley, many dirt roads branch off on either side of the highway - some are labeled, some are not. Look on the left for Goodwill Road, Swede Road, and eventually Cheney Road. While there is a small wooden cemetery sign beside the dirt lane, it is very easy to miss as you fly by on high-speed route 27. If you reach Enterprise, you have gone too far.
Drive straight along on Cheney road, ignoring any branching roads to the right or left. The cemetery lies on the right in a clearing in the forest, clearly visible from the road, near the crest of the hill. There is no obvious parking area, so tuck in along the dirt road. While Cheney road continues on past the cemetery, the property beyond deadends at a private residence. Please respect their privacy and turn around before cresting the hill.

Listed on the 1910 U.S. Federal census with her parents Pius and Blanche Litzinger
and siblings John, Nina, Richard, Ruth, and Pansia (this name is may be incorrect, census-taker's handwriting is difficult to read).
While the parents and oldest son were noted as born in Pennsylvania, the other children's birthplace was listed as West Virginia.
A metal gravemarker to little Alice Henry, who died much too young.
Daughter of James W. and Della E. Henry
Tragedy followed this family. Alice had two older brothers, Joe and James Henry.

Nancy A., wife of T. L. Cheney
Died Apr 25, 1890
Aged 49 Y, 6 M, 5 D
Nancy A. Soule, born in 1841, was T. L. Cheney's first wife. Read his biography for more details.
His second wife, whom he apparently married in 1890 or 1891, was Anna McMillan, born February 1868. They had one child, Mable, born May 1893.
Both can be found on the 1900 U.S. Federal census for Southwest township living with Thomas Cheney, age 59. This record indicates the couple had been married 10 years.
Born in 1840, Thomas Lorenzo Cheney died in 1912 and was also buried in the Cheney Cemetery. Read his obituary.
