PERRY COUNTY Web Site HISTORY
Thank you to ALL the Perry County Coordinators/WebMasters: During the USGenWeb Project formation, Gene Smith created and was Coordinator/WebMaster of York, Adams and Perry County. Thanks to Kathy Dix, Berks County Coordinator, for technical assistance while creating these sites. In 1997 Viola Limric, living in the area, became the Coordinator/WebMaster for Perry County, realizing desire to have local coordinators for the sites. Gene Smith resumed as Coordinator/WebMaster in 2000 and being from the West coast, CA, looked for a Pennsylvanian to assist. In February 2001, Cathy Wentz-Eisenstadt of Chester County, PA volunteered to assist.
