To the Honorable Court of Quarter Sessions and _____ and
_______ of Perry.---------
We the undersigned Grand Jurors of the aforesaid County of Perry for November
Sessions in the Year one thousand eight hundred and twenty five respectfully do
report that in pursuance of the act of the General Assembly of this commonwealth
passed the twenty second day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty, we
on the ninth day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty five went to
and examined the Jail erected at the seat of Justice in and for the said County
and find that the same is erected and ready for the reception of
Prisoners. But that seven of the doors up stairs have no locks which as
the Jurors have ascertained is in consequence of the illness of the person who
contracted to furnish the same, And that in every other Respect the Building is
completed, and we approve of the same-- Witness our hands this tenth day of
November in the Year one thousand eight hundred and twenty five.
