I Luke Slater of the township of Lake in the County of Mercer State of Pennsylvania. Do
make and Publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and
making void all other and former wills, by me at any time heretofore
made. And first I direct that my body be deasently intered. And
as to such worldly sustanance and estate it hath pleased God to intrust
me with I didpose of as follows, first I direct that all my debts and
funerall expences be paid as soon after my deceas as possable, out of
the first maney that come in to the hands of my Executors. 1. I leave my Daughter Mary Perrine one thousand Dollars to be paid out of Stock and Farm Impliments on the farm. 2.
I leave to my son John Slaters one hundred dollars to be paid out of
notes and money on interest also seven hundred dollars to be paid by my
son George Slater out my Real Estate. 3. I leave my son Luke Slater
one hundred dollars to be paid out of notes & moneys also Seven
hundred dollars to be paid by my son George Slater out of my Real
Estate. 4th. I leave my son Michael Slater the sum of one Dollar 5.
to my son Benjamin Slaters four Daughters namely July Lomas Liady
Emonline Slater, Ruth Guy, Mary Victory Bartholamew, to them or their
Heirs the sum of one hundred dollars each 6th I give & bequeath
to my son George Slater the old Farm containing 120 acres allso
onehundred & fifty acres of wood land laying west of John Slaters
by paying my son John Slater seven hundred Dollars and my son Luke
Slater Seven hundred dollar & my daughter Harriet Buckley Seven
hundred Dollars to be paid by my son George Slater in two years after
my Decease without interest 7th I leave to my Daughter Harriet
Wright formerly Buckley one hundred Dollars to be paid out of my notes
all so seven hundred dollars to be paid by hand by George Slater as
above mentioned 8th I give to my Grand son George Buckley 50 acres
of land donation lot No 5 bounded North by Jas Hill weat by donation
East by Shanon & south by McClure in New Vernon Tp when he comes to
age of 21 years by paying his Mother two hundred dollars 9th I also
leave Samuel Buckley Job Buckley Allice H. Buckley Mary Buckley Luke
Slater Buckley Seven hundred & fifty dollars to be divided equally
when they come at the age of 21 years 10th I leave my grand son Ira Slater one hundred dollars 12 Also my Grand Daughter Harriet Perrine one hundred Dollars And I hereby make & ordain Saml North and my son George Slater Executors of this my last will and testament In
witness whereof I Luke Slater the testator to this my last will set my
hand & Seal this Sixteenth day April 1873 Eighteen hundred &
