Sandy Lake April 27th 1863
I
John G. Lytle being of sound mind do make this my last will &
testament. 1st after all my just debts are paid I bequeath to my wife
Phobe thirty acres of my farm to have & control during her
lifetime. The above mentioned thirty acres to include the buildings. I
also bequeath to my wife Phobe one horse, one cow & all the house
hold furniture. 2nd the balance of my property both real estate &
personal I bequeath to my children. They are to share & share alike.
I hereby appoint as executor of this my last will Riley Bruce | John G. Lytle his X mark

Before
me the subscriber Register for the Probate of Wills & C. in and for
said County personally came E. X. Gibner one of the subscribing
witnesses to the above will who being duly sworn according to Law
saith, that he was present with and saw the Testator John G. Lytle sign
said will by making his mark and heard him publish pronounce and
declare the same so signed as and for his last Will and Testament, and
also that he signed his name as & with thereto at the request and
in the presence of said testator.

said county personally came Chas Thom one of the subscribing witnesses
to the within will, who being duly sworn according to law saith, that
he was present with and saw the testator John Lytle sign said will by
making his mark and heard him publish pronounce and declare the same so
signed as and for his last Will and Testament and at the time of so
doing he the said testator of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding according to the best of deponents knowledge and belief,
acknowledge that he signed his name as & with thereto at the
request and in the presence of said testator. and in the presence of
the other subscribing witness.
