matter and
instead of leaving it for others to quarrel over think of the future
needs of this dear old church.
Before
closing this sketch something should be said to the efficiency of our
choir. May of those whose voices let us in the praise service
have joined the heavenly choir, notably, during this pastorate, Mrs. Nettie Mitchell Christy,
whose untiring interest in this part of the service endeared her to us
all. The trustees, with the co-operation of the session have
resolved to secure more efficiency in this part of the
service. Those members of the congregation who have in the
past so faithfully served us should be gratefully remembered an our
present efficient choir, under the leadership of Mr. F. W. McCoy and Mr. J. Frank Ellis should have
our hearty support and encouragement.
