year or two the additions to the list of communicants have hardly offset
the removals, and the time is surely not far distant, when our numbers
must be depleted and our income greatly reduced. Some of us may not
be here when the time arrives, but part of our business is to look to the
future and plan for it. A start has been made along this line in the
new East End Sabbath school which has just been started. Through the
generosity of Hon. E. S. Templeton, of the
Presbyterian church, a lot was donated and upon it has been built and
dedicated a place of worship. This
is only the beginning of better things for us as a church. How best
can we aid in securing permanency for the work of this church when we
shall have passed away? It can be done in the way of gifts as a
sinking fund fund for securing of a central location, or else for the
establishment of a Second church if the town continues to grow. You
who have money to leave behind you think of this
