History of Mill Bank Cemetery
On the 29th day of April, 1874 W. B. Mitchell, D. B. Robins. C. Byles, A. D. Walker, R. A. Harsh, R. Sutliff, James Walker, Thomas Hidkling, B. R. Mitchell, [and]  Robert Rankin associated themselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation under the provision of an Act of Assembly. Action 1 - The Corporation shall be known and designated under the name and title Mill Bank Cemetery Company, etc.; shall hold, purchase and transfer such real and personal property as the corporation requires, etc. Make by-laws not inconsistent with law for management of property and affairs of maintaining a public cemetery at or near the Borough of Fredonia in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Mill Bank Cemetery Deeds are as follows:

From A. D. Walker et ud and W. B. Mitchell Quitclaim Deed (1905) Recorded in Deed Book C. Vol. 8, page 465 land situated in Fairview Township and Boro of Fredonia bounded and described as follows:

on north and east by lands of B. A. Mitchell; on the south by Mill Pond at high water mark owned by Mitchell and Walker; on the west by Leech Road and containing (4) acres (consideration $1.00) from John Caven to Mill Bank Cemetery Association 1932, Re corded in Deed Book K. Vol. 15, page 186 - (1) acre more or less consideration $400.00

—from Gervis A. Kudis and Judith B. Kudis - (2) acres more or less. Consideration $900.00, Recorded 1958 Deed Book T, Vol. 21, page 360.

Graves of those who shaped the destiny of Fredonia, both in the Ball Cemetery, Delaware Township and Millbank are marked by native field stone and/or granite.

Williard Beatty, who has been caretaker of the cemetery for several years [1976] was preceded by Floyd Foust, Sr. Robert Ramp, Max Ealy, and William Mecklem, Mr. Perry, Raymond Redfoot Truman Curtis, Harry Rose, and Henry W. Whittenberger.
