William
Harvey Booth, farmer of R. D. 5 Greenville, died at 6:20 a.m. today at
his home following a 15 month illness. He was 82.
A son of
Harvey and Cordelia Bacon Booth, he was born in Clarksville July 22,
1866 and had resided in West Salem Township for 55 years.
He
attended the Methodist Church at Vernon. He married Mary Jane Fry
November 18, 1893 and she survives with two sons, Lauren Booth, R. D. 2
Greenville and Samuel R. D. 5 Greenville. Two brothers and five
sisters preceded him in death.

Harvey Booth, 82, died at 2:20 am Tuesday May 10, 1949 at his home in
Greenville RD 5. He had been ill for 15 months. Born July
22, 1866, in Clarksville, Mr Booth was a son of Harvey and Cordelia
Bacon Booth. In November of 1893 he was married to Mary Jane Fry
who survives. He had been a resident of West salem Township to 35
years. Mr. Booth attended the Vernon Methodist Church.
In
additional to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Lauren Booth of
Greenville R.D. 2 and Samuel J Booth of Greenville RD 5. Two
brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral
services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Osborn and son funeral
home in charge. Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery.
