Miss
Minerva Elizabeth Uber, formerly of the Valley and more recently of 709
Oak Hill, Youngstown, died at the residence of her brother-in-law and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Zelman, 2728 Hampshire Rd., Cleveland
Heights, at 2 p.m. Saturday [6 Dec 1958]. She had been ill a year
with cancer. She was 56.
Miss Uber was born April 14, 1902, in Wheatland. She was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Lalie Peters.
She had lived in Cleveland since August of last year. Miss Uber had been a practical nurse in Youngstown for many years.
She had been a member of Sharon Chapter 122, Women of the Moose and Pilgrim Collegiate Church of Youngstown.
She
is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mildred Zelman of Cleveland Heights; a
niece, Joyce Zelman of Cleveland, two nephews, Bernard Zelman of
Cleveland, and Joseph C. Uber, Jr., of Salem, O.
Two brothers, Benjamin and Albert C. Uber, preceded her in death.
