Miss
Margaret Meek, of this place, died at her home on the West Hill last
Friday afternoon, of a complication of diseases. She had made her
home with her sister, Mrs. John Littlejohn, and for the past 39 years
had resided at the place where she died. She was a native of
Scotland, and was a sister of Messrs. Thomas and Charles Meek, late
residents of Sharon, and of Mrs. Mary Thornton, of near Sharpsville,
besides Mrs. Littlejohn. Her funeral took place Sunday afternoon
and was largely attended. The internment was in Oakwood cemetery.
