CHARLES
E. MCCONKEY, attorney-at-law at Grove City, is a native of Muskingum
county, Ohio, born March 28, 1871. When a mere child, in 1875, his
parents moved to Grove City. The parents are Rev. William J. and
Hattie (Pringle) McConkey. Charles E. McConkey was educated at
the schools of Grove City and having chosen law for a profession, he
matriculated at Ann Arbor (Michigan) University, graduating therefrom
with the class of 1896. He practiced law in Pittsburg about four years
and then located in Grove City. Politically, Mr. McConkey is a
supporter of the Prohibition party; is a member of the Presbyterian
church and stands for all that is good and uplifting within the
community in which he resides. Mr. McConkey was united in marriage in
1902 to Mary Craig, daughter of R. C. Craig.
