John Joseph Flynn John Flynn arrived in the U.S. on an IRISH FREE STATE passport in the spring of 1925. He married Helen Theresa Coleman of Sharon, PA in Jamestown, New York and together they raised a girl; Mary Joan, and three boys; John Joseph, James Michael and Raymond Patrick. He co-founded Flynn's Tire Company (aka URRA Tire Co.) with his oldest son "Joe". He was known for his charity to the poor. He was buried from St. Joseph's Church on East State Street in Sharon and he is buried in the family plot he picked out several years before his death. The plot also contains the remains of his wife, two of his sisters; Ann Teresa Flynn and Sarah Flynn Noir (and her husband Robert) as well as his brother James Charles Flynn (and his wife Mary Jane from Pittsburgh, PA) and his oldest son John Joseph Flynn, II.
