Henry Frazier Henry was a traveling Baptist minister. Henry married a Phebe/Phoebe unknown (surname still being researched) in New Jersey ca. 1786. During his traveling ministries the couple raised 12 children of which 2 are suspected to be grandchildren. (The 10 children: Abigail, Nancy, John, MaryAnn, Thomas, Randolph, Elizabeth, Phebe, Polly, & Joel and the grandchildren, Susanna and Lizann or Eliza Ann). Henry and family came to Sharon in 1807 and settled in Shenango Twp. in 1809. In Mercer County, Henry was an Elder of the West Salem Baptist Church in West Salem Twp. He, also, was the Reverend of the Baptist Church of Sharon from 1825-1829. During 1826-1827, Henry conducted monthly services with the sermons being frequently 2 hours in length. (The Sharon Church was a branch of the Georgetown Baptist Church founded in 1807 in Sheakleyville). Henry is interred next to his wife Phebe and his son, Joel, and his family in Keel Ridge Cemetery in Hermitage. Of note: the family bible gives the surname as Frasher but the headstone reads Frazier.
