The
Mercer County Trust Company was organized in 1902. The
controlling interest in this institution is the same as in the Farmers
and Mechanics National. Mr. Lyle W.
Orr was secretary and treasurer of the company from its
organization until 1909. J. D. Emery
is president and S. H. Miller
vice president. The Trust Company is conducted under a state charter,
and with a capital stock of $225,000.
