Father born Buffalo, Erie, New York, date 19 January 1854, son of Thomas Goodwin and mother Anna Jane Elliott. Baptized St. Bernard Catholic Church, Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania.
Her grandfather, along with her father, ran a successful Hotel and restaurant in Bradford. Many wills and graves of the Goodwin family are located there. They were members of the St. Bernard Catholic Church the years the families lived in Bradford before moving to Pittsburgh.
Anna Jane Goodwin was 10 years 5 months and 24 days old when her father died at the age of 41 years.
