PAGenWeb McKean County, Pennsylvania Washburn Family Thomas Diamond Washburn was born 15 December 1852 at Belmont, Allegany County, New York, a son of Benjamin Washburn and Rebecca Mickle. Thomas married first in February 1878 Edwina Maxson, born 29 April 1855 in Ceres Township, McKean County, died 26 June 1884 at Myrtle, McKean County, a daughter of Enoch Ira Maxson and Mary Ann Barber. Edwina is buried in the Main Settlement Cemetery. Thomas and Edwina had two children: 1. Susie Belle Washburn, born 31 December 1879 in Ceres Township. Susie was married 18 June 1898 at Myrtle to Edwin Holly, born 21 September 1874 at Myrtle, a son of William Wallace Holly and Laura Ann Rose. Susie died 26 July 1964 at Port Allegany, Edwin died 4 May 1928 at Bradford. They are buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Bradford. 2. Thomas Raymond Washburn, born 1882, died 1967. "Raym" was married to Bertha Holly, born 1886, died 1956, a daughter of Wilbur Holly and Mary Eastman. Raym and Bertha are buried in the Myrtle Cemetery at Myrtle. Following the death of his first wife, Thomas Diamond Washburn married Roseline Mary Barber, born 18 September 1858. Thomas and Rose had one daughter. 1. Hazel Washburn, born September 1897, died 1979. Hazel married Floyd Maxson. Thomas Diamond Washburn died 9 April 1929 at Main Settlement. His second wife, Roseline Mary, died 11 December 1935.
