application--this date is odd, she claimed to her children 04/08/1913).
Parents (on application) father: Daniel Allsion; mother "unknown."
She claimed born in Osceola Mills, her SS application says Blair.
Not sure what to believe, however, they both or maybe only one was an
orphan. My grandfather died of Black Lung he claimed from working in
the mines. He was very literate as he loved to read (my mother said
he always asked her to bring books home for him).
