Carrick High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has a history that includes its opening in 1925, its becoming part of the Pittsburgh public school system, and the addition of new facilities in 1966. The Borough of Carrick was annexed to Pittsburgh a little over a year after the school opened, making Carrick High School part of the Pittsburgh public school system. Carrick High School offers a variety of programs, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, the Pittsburgh Scholars Program, Centers for Advanced Studies, ATCD offerings, Summer Leadership Camps, and the CASTLE Mentoring Program.
